Stage 6 is the "Tussey" stage. Perhaps the most awesome stage of the week, this route is one of the favorites. The 2014 version is a mix of what has come before, combining courses and trails from the first four years of trips through Rothrock State Forest.

New enduro segments on Long Mountain Trail and the never before included Hessick Trail augment the enduro segment count to three. Rocky singletrack lovers will love the scenic Tussey Ridge Trail. 42 miles with 4,883 feet of climbing.

Stage 5 is the "R.B. Winter" stage. This stage travels through a lightly used area that is among the most picturesque riding in Pennsylvania, and old tram trails from early 20th century logging cuts will leave riders with a new understanding of baby-head rocks.

Black Gap Trail is hard for riders to forget and for those who've experienced it and White Deer Creek Trail ranks among the top 10 trails in Pennsylvania. R.B. Winter State Park is a beautiful park with a cold, spring-fed lake at the finish. It includes four enduro segments with a wide variety in features.

    Show notes

May 28, 2014 - Ben talks with Rocky Mountain Endurance Director, Thane Wright, about the upcoming PV Derby on Saturday, May 31 in Elbert, Colorado.

Listen in to hear about the race, venue, course, and extras like the kid's races. Thane also shares some information about the upcoming final two races of the series. The PV Derby is a great opportunity to race a private course that offers varied terrain in a beautiful setting. Be sure to let them know you heard about the race on Mountain Bike Radio.

The roots of Warriors Cycling began in 1989 at a ranch near the old mining town of Gold Hill in the mountains above Boulder, Colorado, with a race called the April Fools Spring Fling. The Arapahoe Warriors Cycling Club was born in 1994, and with that a fundraising race at Keystone was created called the Snake River Mountain Challenge. This grew over it’s 9 year history into a 4-discipline event and became the Finals for the Mountain States Cup State Championship Series which was co-founded and grew before eventually being sold to Yeti. A focus on endurance racing began in earnest with the Rocky Mountain Ultra Series in 2006, which rebranded as RME in 2009.
