Kate Scott kicks off Season 2 with someone near and dear - her CBS Sports UCL Today teammate Micah Richards, aka Big Meeks.
Micah opens up about being the butt of the joke - and why it doesn't offend him. Behind the booming laugh and bubbly personality is a thoughtful, grounded man who doesn’t obsess over money or fame. For Micah, it’s quality time with family and loved ones that truly matters. He also gets candid about how his relationship with his father has shaped him.
Micah reflects on his journey from a tough upbringing to the top of professional football and how the same self-belief and drive have fueled his success in broadcasting. He shares how a low point at Aston Villa nearly broke him, and how an unexpected message from a young fan helped shift his perspective.
From managing sudden wealth as a young pro, to why he doesn’t want his son to follow in his footballing footsteps, to his plan to retire from media at 45 - Micah doesn't hold back.
And of course, Kate and Micah share a few laughs as they look back on the incredible chemistry, grind, and global impact of UCL Today.
