    Financial education though the lens of research, statistics, and my own tough losses. Welcome to my podcast– I’m Matt! I have been involved in the stock market for the past decade. Over those 10 years, I have had numerous ups and downs. My trading and investing finally began to improve when I started to approach the markets with a systamic mindset. I had a breakthrough when I deciced to deal with market theories I could test, analyze, and then accept or reject. This heavily involved battling with my own ego, but it was well worth it. This transformation was only made possible though the mentorship of a handful of people. If you are a visual learner, check out my YouTube Channel by simply searching Matt Kohrs. I want to give back the community by providing educational content that hopefully helps you avoid some of the pitfalls that tricked me.     Making A BEAR PUT SPREAD On Robinhood | Trading Options Feb 12, 2021

    This is a step-by-step guide of how to short stocks on Robinhood (or any trading platform that doesn't allow shorting). Profiting off the decline of a stock can been done through a Bear Put Spread. In this episode, I cover the theory behind this option strategy and provide an example to make it more understandable. At the end of the episode, I showcase the creation of a Bear Put Spread, sometimes referred to as a "Debit Put Spread", in my own Robinhood account. This live example is a short position on SPY.

    How To SHORT STOCKS On Robinhood Feb 10, 2021

    Shorting allows you to make a profit when a stock declines. Unfortunately, the Robinhood trading platform doesn't allow you to directly sell stock. There are a few viable workarounds, this episode focusing on creating a net short position with put options. In this episode, I show two to live examples in my own Robinhood account.
