Show notes

Welcome to Monkey Tennis - The definitive Alan Partridge fan podcast. Since 2016, we’ve been dissecting and celebrating the output of Norfolk’s finest broadcaster, episode by episode.

We cover the full spectrum of Partridge - from Alan’s origins in The Day Today and On the Hour, his BBC TV and radio breakthroughs Knowing Me Knowing You and I’m Alan Partridge, his film Alpha Papa, the I Partridge and Nomad books, Mid Morning Matters, his Comic Relief contributions, This Time - and beyond.

Along the way, we’ve been joined by cast members including Stephen Mangan (Dan) and Simon Greenall (Michael the Geordie), and recorded the podcast live around the country, including special episodes at Comic Con and the London Podcast Festival.

So if you’re curious about Alan’s contribution to culture, want to join the conversation with fellow Partridge fans, or find out what really happens when you pour Sunny Delight on a box of Bond videos, kommen sie bitte, and listen to Monkey Tennis.
