Michael Compton on keeping the Republic Sep 30, 2026
    Show notes

What does it take to keep a constitutional republic strong for the next generation? In this episode, we discuss Michael Compton, author of Keeping the Republic: A Citizen’s Guide for the Next 250 Years. Drawing from his grassroots work with Act for Missouri, Compton explores the idea that preserving America’s constitutional republic requires more than elections and political leaders—it requires citizens who understand and practice self-government. The book examines constitutional structure, federalism, God-given rights, civic virtue, and the responsibilities citizens have between elections. It also provides practical guidance for becoming more engaged in government, including how to: • Evaluate legislation and public policy • Follow state and local government • Communicate effectively with elected officials • Organize with other citizens • Hold government leaders accountable regardless of political party • Move beyond simply consuming political news The book concludes with a 12-month Citizen Action Plan, designed to help ordinary Americans turn political frustration into informed, consistent, and sustainable civic involvement. Join us as we talk about Michael Compton’s approach to keeping the republic through active citizenship and self-government.

Corruption in MO false DUI arrests Sep 23, 2026
    Show notes

🚨 CORRUPTION IN MISSOURI AGENCIES? FLOCK SURVEILLANCE, FALSE DUI ARRESTS & FRAUD CASES What is happening inside Missouri agencies — and how much accountability is there when government systems go wrong? In this episode of Missouri Liberty Report, we take a look at several troubling stories involving law enforcement, government surveillance, public funds, and alleged misconduct. 📡 FLOCK CAMERAS & 1 MILLION SEARCHES New reporting from KCUR reveals that Kansas City, Kansas, police databases containing Flock license-plate data were queried nearly 1.1 million times in just a 30-day period. The investigation also found extensive searches by police departments outside the Kansas City area and raises questions about who has access to this information, how it is being used, and what privacy protections exist. 🚔 SOBER DRIVERS ARRESTED FOR DUI An InvestigateTV investigation found cases across 22 states where people were arrested for DUI even though subsequent blood testing showed no alcohol or drugs in their systems. The investigation raises serious questions about field sobriety testing, medical conditions, testing procedures, and what happens when an arrest is made before definitive toxicology results are available. 💰 MISSOURI PUBLIC ASSISTANCE FRAUD Federal authorities recently took custody of a million-dollar St. Charles home connected to a case involving nearly $20 million in alleged stolen public funds. According to prosecutors, the former nonprofit executive involved was convicted of stealing money intended for a program providing meals to children. 🏗️ FORMER MODOT SUPERVISOR FACES FRAUD CHARGES A former Missouri Department of Transportation supervisor has been indicted on federal mail fraud charges. Prosecutors allege he used MoDOT-issued credit cards for approximately $50,000 in personal purchases and was involved in the alleged theft of state equipment worth nearly $30,000. These cases raise broader questions about government oversight, accountability, privacy, law enforcement practices, and the protection of taxpayer money. Where should the line be drawn between legitimate government functions and the rights of ordinary citizens?

    9/11 25 years later Sep 16, 2026

Twenty-five years after September 11, 2001, we take a look back at 9/11 and the lasting impact those events have had on America, including the changes to government, national security, civil liberties, and foreign policy that followed. We’ll also have an update from Franklin County, Missouri, where county leaders have voted on proposals allowing large-scale data center development on hundreds of acres of farmland. We’ll examine what was approved, the concerns raised by local residents, and what these developments could mean for the community. And on the national front, Rep. Thomas Massie has introduced articles of impeachment against Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, alleging violations of the War Powers Resolution and other constitutional and legal issues connected to U.S. military operations. Massie is seeking to force a House vote on his eight impeachment articles.

No good deed goes unpunished with Dave Roland Sep 09, 2026

Is it illegal to feed people in your own home? In Harrisburg, Missouri, Kathy Kite says she is being threatened with fines and possible jail time if she doesn’t stop feeding people in her home — completely free of charge. Kathy has been opening her home and providing meals to people who need them. But now, she says local authorities are telling her that she could face serious consequences if she continues. So where does government regulation end and individual freedom begin? In this video, we take a closer look at Kathy Kite’s situation, the rules being used against her, and the bigger questions this case raises about property rights, personal freedom, government overreach, and the right to help your neighbors. If a person wants to invite people into their own home and feed them at no charge, should the government be able to tell them they can't?

Continued fight against Flock cameras Sep 02, 2026
    Show notes

The fight against Flock cameras isn’t over. Flock cameras are becoming increasingly common, raising serious questions about privacy, surveillance, data retention, and the ability of government and law enforcement to track where people travel. In this episode of the Missouri Liberty Report, we take another look at the continued pushback against Flock cameras and the growing debate over automated license plate readers. How much information should be collected about innocent people simply going about their daily lives? Who has access to that data? How long is it kept? And what safeguards exist to prevent abuse? This isn't just about cameras on a roadside — it's about privacy, property rights, individual liberty, and the limits of government surveillance. We'll discuss the ongoing fight, the arguments on both sides, and what citizens can do to make their voices heard.
