    251: Angels among us Jan 22, 2024
    Show notes

Do you believe there are angels among us? I do, and Neil does, and we’ve had some really special experiences here in Hawaii with our family members who have passed on. So today we’re discussing the idea of angels in the form of family members and ancestors looking out for us, helping us, cheering us on, encouraging us in our darkest moments and giving us a little nudge when we need it. I promise you that you do have people on the other side who love you, care about you, and want to help, if you’ll be open to receiving it.

Are the January blues hitting you? Are you feeling like everything is piling up on you? Are you in your pajamas right now? Me too! But really, how are you right now? If you’re not doing great, then today my friend, we did a podcast episode just for you. I hope you can feel our love for you and that you’ll hear this message today and be able to tell yourself, “it’s okay to be in a season of survival.” And if you aren’t in that kind of season, but you know and love someone who might be right now, share this with them once you’re done. And to my friend who inspired this episode today, know that I love you and I’m here for you, and that this is just a season, and today is not forever.

248: Declutter Your Destiny: What to let go of from 2023 to make room for greatness in 2024 Jan 01, 2024
    Show notes

One of my favorite quotes is from C. Joy Bell that says, “You will find that it is necessary to let things go; simply for the reason that they are heavy. So let them go, let go of them.”

Today Neil and I are discussing what things we’ve let go of to make room for better things in our lives. Labels, past experiences, burdens that don’t belong to us… We’re also talking about HOW to do this and some things you can evaluate in your life so that you have room to really step into who you were meant to be in 2024.

I’ve got you, because I know just what that feels like. I have the perfect thing, and it’s actually really easy, and I’m going to walk you through how I do it, what I’ve done in past years, and how you can have this miracle in your life of learning from Jesus as you give a gift to Him this next year. 246: Giving up Wine O’Clock with Jenn Kautsch Dec 18, 2023
    Show notes

Jenn Kautsch, founder of Sober Sis, is passionate about making it safe for women to have a conversation about alcohol without judgment, labels, or rules. She’s a retired “gray area” drinker who realized in her 40s that her “wine o’clock” habit wasn’t doing her any favors. She started Sober Sis to share her knowledge and experience with other women who wanted to overcome drinking as a habit and lifestyle and enjoy an alcohol free lifestyle instead. If you’ve been contemplating giving up drinking for the new year, or are as Jenn says “sober curious,” or even if you just want to know how to support others going through this journey, then today’s episode is for you.

Today we’re discussing the great gift we can give to others AND to Jesus by just simply following a prompting.

    244: My Miscarriage Theory Dec 04, 2023
    Show notes

Mary, the mother of Jesus, is someone I now think about more than I ever have during the Christmas season because of an experience I had two Christmases ago when I lost a pregnancy. Her attitude of being the handmaid of the Lord has helped me maintain the perspective of being willing to do the Lord's will even through some of the most challenging trials that have come with being a mother. Today I'm sharing my theory on miscarriage that has been pieced together over time and through my experiences with miscarriages. I don't claim that it's for sure a fact but it's something that has brought a lot of comfort to some of my friends who have experienced the same, and so maybe it can for you or someone you love, too.
