THE WORD THIS WEEK IS: promise.

What a weighted word. We say it like it's just a noun, forgetting that it is a verb as well. But what does it actually mean to you? Is your word your bond? Do you make promises that you intend to keep, but then pull back last minute because of inconvenience?

This week we dive into HEBREWS 13:5

Where God says, “Never will I leave you, Never will I forsake you.”

There are so many promises from God’s word to you. He is a faithful God. A God who keeps His covenant for a thousand generations .His promises and covenants are ones that you can build upon, make yours the same...after all, actions prove why words mean nothing.

"Meaningless! Meaningless!" says the Teacher. "Everything is meaningless!" Wait, what?!

Yup. Meaningless. What if I were to tell you there's nothing new under the sun & that our life is merely vapor? Would it challenge you to live differently? Would it put things into perspective more?

This week as we dive into Chapter 1 of Ecclesiastes, put your ego aside & fully experience the moments that you’re in for the gifts that they are -- we are so blessed to be alive for such a time as this. Don't chase after wind. Don't build your dreams on vanity and vapor. There is a time for everything & a season for every activity under the heavens.

THE WORD THIS WEEK IS: dare.

Truth or dare? Dare. I dare you to dream. You know exactly what dream I'm talking about too. It's that dream that God continues to put on your heart, that you keep ignoring because the timing is not right to pursue it. Or you're just flat out afraid. Well my friend, it's time. Shake off the fear. God rejoices when you dare to dream.

In Isaiah 14:27 it says that when the Lord all-powerful makes a plan, no one can stop it. What is meant for you, will always be yours. You are called. You are chosen. You were created for such a time as this to dream, to live out the God-colored manifestations of your heart. So, don't be afraid. He's got this, take that first step.

Just wanted to do a quick intro, warm welcome & a deep breath as we kick off this devotional series. First, a major thank you to my "faith team" -- the amazing souls who prayed, pushed, & encouraged me to make this podcast a reality. As I start the pursuit of obtaining my Doctorate of Education in Christian Leadership I wanted to take you all on the journey with me. So here we are, a fresh start & a solid space to be Biblically reminded that you are loved, you are chosen, and you are enough.
