THE WORD THIS WEEK IS: anger.

"Don’t raise your voice, improve your argument," they say.

The tension in this country right now is insane. Palpable. People are angry and a simple place like a grocery store has turn into a boxing ring over mask wearing and proper COVID etiquette. But don’t we have every right to be angry? Aren’t we allowed to be angry? In this episode we break down the difference between RIGHTEOUS anger and UNRIGHTEOUS anger.

If you’re realizing your fight-or-flight mode is kicking into high gear lately, well this episode is for you.

THE WORD THIS WEEK IS: see.

Do you “see” the good in people? Do you “see” the good in situations?

What exactly are you looking for? Is your vision, your sight, is it fixed, scattered, or is it peripheral, gazed, and out of focus?

How do you see yourself? How do you see the world?

In this episode we are going to address three different points of seeing and how to refocus our “heart vision”.

It’s time to “see” things a little bit differently…here’s how.

comparison. Apr 16, 2020

Show notes

THE WORD THIS WEEK IS: comparison.

I have watched, first hand, this one, single, word destroy some of the most brilliantly talented people I’ve ever met. No one has your heart. Your mind. Your triumph over struggles. Your battle scars that live to tell the story. It’s time to siphon through your life. To stop the mental comparison game and narrative you keep feeding yourself. In this episode we learn how to “unlearn” some old ways of thinking, and replace them with new ones that move you closer into the direction of who YOU are called, by God, to be.

It’s time to run your race…and here’s how.

THE WORD THIS WEEK IS: conquer.

They say that out of boredom sparks creativity.

This episode is for all the business owners. The entrepreneurs. The movers and shakers. What does it mean to conquer in the middle of worldwide financial crisis? What does it look like? Where do you even begin? Do you just put off your dreams for a later date?

Go forward with a conquering spirit… conquer anxiety with scripture…conquer evil with love. Take up your cross and follow him. Even if your steps are small, it’s not a race. We’re all a work in progress.

So take a deep breath, stay with me to the end of this episode and let’s take a minute to map this out; together.

Show notes

THE WORD THIS WEEK IS: closer.

I know that might seem conflicting due to the circumstances we’re currently in with a nationwide 15-day quarantine over COVID-19 while learning the art of the new collective norm of social distancing -- but there’s some irony in all of this. Although we are social distancing in some aspects of our daily life, we’re also given the opportunity, right now, to become closer in others.

This week we break down some ways to grow closer during the push for distance.

So take a break, be still…& know that this too shall pass.
