Stefani is joined by one of her best friends Tiffany Keller Mackovic for an honest evaluation of postpartum depression (PPD) and the evolution of her early journey into motherhood. Tiffany talks about her postpartum depression diagnosis and how this changed her landscape of life. We talk about being a friend to someone during their darkest days and the responsibilities we have to each other as fellow Mothers in caring for each other.
1 in 7 women will be diagnosed with some form of PPD after experiencing live birth, with more than 600,000 cases being reported annually. These numbers do not include mothers who have experience miscarriage, or stillbirth. Medical professionals estimate that number is more than doubled due to most women not reporting their symptoms to their healthcare provider. 80% of cases of women diagnosed with PPD, who have received care from their healthcare provider have reported a full recovery.
If you or someone you know is struggling with PPD, and in need of immediate help, DIAL 988, for the National Crisis hotline
