There are reportedly multiple teams talking to the Pelicans about a potential Holiday trade, and we believe the Mavs are one of those teams based on their interest in him for the last three years, plus the fact that Holiday is exactly the type of shooting guard you'd want sharing the backcourt with Luka Doncic. The guys discuss how this is a good decision for the NBA, all things being considered, and how it could potentially be beneficial to the Mavs. The next conversation focuses on a report from the Dallas Morning News that the Mavs are willing to trade anyone on the roster except Luka Doncic or Kristaps Porzingis. The guys discuss how this 'win-now' urgency from the Mavs could affect their pursuit of Giannis Antetokounmpo in 2021 (Spoiler: it won't change much at all).
