#5: How to Feel Sexy and Confident in the Bedroom Feb 13, 2020
    Show notes

When you feel good in your body and embrace your sexual side, you show up in a more empowered, confident way. Welcome to this special “V-Day” edition of Tea Time with Mary. In this episode, Mary discusses ways that have personally helped her to be more confident in the bedroom. What happens when you use sex to seek validation? And what can you do to show yourself a little more love? As Mary states, your body is for YOU and feeling pleasure in your body is not shameful, it’s natural and needs to be embraced more by women everywhere. So, let’s celebrate this V-Day by celebrating ourselves, our bodies and our sexuality a little bit more!
Books mentioned: Come As You Are by Emily Nagoski and Pussy: A Reclamation by Regina Thomashauer.
Products mentioned: plusOne makes affordable, high-quality sex toys that you can get at WalMart, Amazon, or Target all under $35! plusOne is breaking down barriers and disrupting outdated taboos regarding self-pleasure with their line of beautiful, affordable and approachable vibrators and sexual wellness products. P.S. If you’re not in a relationship right now, please don’t let this be a day where you beat yourself up about it. At the end of the day, V-Day is a highly-commercialized holiday and literally means nothing. Take this as a day to show extra love for yourself, just because.

    #4: 22 Things I Learned in 22 Years Feb 06, 2020
    Show notes

This is the birthday episode!! Mary shares with you life lessons she had to learn the hard way in her past 22 years on this earth. She talks about everything from sex, hair removal, and yeast infections, to divorce and relationships, to self love and body image.
Here are a few of her favorite lessons…
You’re not everyone’s cup of tea, nor should you strive to be. There’ll always be people who won’t like you no matter what you do.
Hating yourself will not make you happy. Criticizing your body will not make you look better. Shame will not make you feel worthy. Self-love is the way.
    Hair removal is overrated.
Your body’s only purpose is to keep you alive. Be kind to it.
This episode is very personal so please let Mary know how you like it by screenshotting and tagging her in your Instagram stories!

#2: How to Fall in Love with Yourself Jan 23, 2020
    Show notes

“We often think of self love as a noun…” a thing we want more of. “In reality, love is a verb…” something inside of us and something that we do; not something we possess. In this episode, Mary talks about the paradox of thinking that if we only have more things to do what we want to do then we can achieve self love. “If you want to have self love, start with the be.” We also hear more about Mary’s personal journey with body image and take a look at how it has affected her relationships in the past, from judging others to how it affected her sex life. Mary also discusses the importance of romanticizing your own life and what that could possibly look like for you. Take a moment to brew a warm cup of tea and enjoy the show!
