Instead, I invite you to let go of the expectation that you must be happy all the time, and instead, focus on creating MEANING in your life.

    Affirmations sounds nice as an Instagram caption or on a Pinterest quote, but they can often leave us feeling like we're soooo far away from our goal. In this episode, Mary explains the psychology behind why affirmations don't work and what you can do instead that will really help you in your self-love journey.

    Note: if affirmations work for you, then that's great! Do what's best for you. But try this other practice too and see how you feel. :)
