There’s talk about Mamdani’s freeze-the-rent policy, which could cause trouble for people not included in the plan. President Trump weighed in on socialism and communism, and his Justice Department is targeting businessman Neville Roy Singham in China over alleged funding of communist ideology, including donations through Goldman Sachs. AOC could face a challenge from Mamdani as his popularity grows. Over the weekend, former President Biden took some shots at Trump during the Democratic Party’s “Fight Back & Win” gala in Maryland.     John Bolton, the former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, has pleaded guilty to keeping classified documents. Mark gave an update on the White House pool renovations. Governor Kathy Hochul tried to start a Buffalo Bills chant, but it didn’t catch on. Taylor Swift’s wedding is set for Madison Square Garden in early July, and there are details for those interested in attending. The Mets fired manager Carlos Mendoza after a 34-47 start to the season. Mark interviews Steve Forbes, Chairman of Forbes Media. Steve joined Mark to talk about the recent drop in oil prices, which could lower gas prices. Tensions between Iran and the U.S. are still high. Iran claims it won, but things aren’t settled. Mayor Zohran Mamdani froze rents for tenants, fulfilling a campaign promise. California’s Governor Gavin Newsom is pushing for a new wealth tax, which could pass soon. Along with John Bolton, former President Biden is also accused of keeping unclassified documents at home. The war between Russia and Ukraine continues, but Ukraine is making progress. Mark recapped yesterday’s charity event and made some jokes about Mayor Mamdani, who was in the audience. Mark interviews Pollster John McLaughlin. John joined Mark to break down the week’s primaries. Democrats and socialists had several big wins in New York. Mamdani’s primary win gave him a boost for the mayoral race. John also discussed Bruce Blakeman’s chances for NYC’s governor’s seat and what to expect in the midterms this November.
