    Gauri (vocal) and Johannes (guitar) play and sing during a saturday evening satsang the song or kirtan "Om Namah Shivaya" with some lyrics in German. In this recording Shiva is worship as the one, who gives us happiness and bliss. Om Namah Shivaya is a devotional greeting to Shiva, which is also used to greet your friends and other people - like "Namasté" which means: "I greet the devine in you".     Bhajan Habu chants during a saturday evening satsang the kirtan "Hare Krishna" and accompanies his singing with a guitar. This kirtan is a Krishna kirtan and worshiped Krishna, who is the bliss and joy and stands as the divine behind all beings and things. To inspire joy and bliss in all of us, we can celebrate daily a short Krishna Puja – and of course chanting Mantras!     A group of new graduated yoga teacher chant on the day of their examination the mantra "Jisa Hala Me" during a satsang at Yoga Vidya Bad Meinberg, Germany. Jisa Hala Me is a kirtan written by Swami Sivananda and it means: "In what circumstances you're, always praise the beloved Krishna". You can find the text for this kirtan in the Yoga Vidya Kirtan Songbook as No. 62.

    Show notes Kavita sings during a satsang at Yoga Vidya Bad Meinberg, Germany, the mantra "Sachara Chara Pari Purna". Here is the text or lyric for this kirtan to sing along: "Sacharā Chara Pari Pūrna Shivoham Nityānanda Swarūpa Shivoham Ānandoham Ānandoham Ānandam Brahm Ānandam Sākshi Chaitanya Kutasthoham Nityā Nitya Swarūpa Shivoham". You can find this kirtan in the Yoga Vidya Kirtan Songbookunder the number 400. The meaning is: I'm Out abundance, fulfillment of Para, from the transcendent. - By this kirtan is expressed, that we are in a physical body, which restricts us. Even so the mind and emotions and thoughts and or character restrict us. But on another level we are limitless, or self is the limitless. Shivoham means: I am Shiva. I am Nitya, the eternal.     Maha Mantra with Devadas Jul 24, 2015
    Show notes Devadas sings during a Yoga Vidya Satsang at Yoga Vidya Bad Meinberg the Maha Mantra - it is one of the best mantra to develop bliss and love. With this mantra you call God in its aspects as Hari (Vishnu), Rama and Krishna. Swami Sivananda appreciated this mantra beyond all measure and so in every Satsang of the Sivananda tradition is the Maha Mantra sung. You can find the Maha Mantra in the Yoga Vidya Kirtan Songbook as No. 2 as part of the Jaya Ganesha.
