    \"Kailash Ki Shakti Shiva\", chanted during a Yoga Vidya Satsang on a saturday evening by graduates of a yogateacher training in Bad Meinberg. Kailash Ki Shakti Shiva is a Shiva kirtan or mantra. Kailash is the sacred mountain, on the summit of Shiva lives. Shakti is the bubbly from him strength, the cause of all deceit and the cause of the transformation and enlightenment. Shakti we find especially in Prana, the energy or force of life. You can find the kirtan Kailash Ki Shakti Shiva in the Yoga Vidya Kirtan Songbook under the number 268. Om Shanti Om

How sweet the sound That saved a wretch like me! I once was lost, but now am found, was blind, but now I see. Twas Grace that taught my heart to fear, and Grace my fears relieved. How precious did that Grace ap-pear, The hour I first believed! Through many dangers, toils and snares I have already come. Tis Grace hath brought me safe thus far. And Grace will lead me home. The Lord has promised good to me. His word my hope secures. He will my shield and portion be, As long as life endures. Yea, when this flesh and heart shall fail, And mortal life shall cease, I shall possess, within the veil A life of joy and peace. This song is about a man who is on the way to God.     Participants a Yoga Teacher Training sing the Kirtan „Jay Mata Kali“ - you can sing the Jay Mata Kali-Mantra for the worship of the Divine Mother in her aspect as Kali, the Black. Kali is a aspect of the primordial goddess Durga. People say that Kali requires total dedication and is important to know that Kali is gentle to her admirers.     Gayatri Mantra with Panduranga - Devaki and Harishakti Oct 23, 2015

    Panduranga, Devaki and Harishakti perform and chant the kirtan of the „Gayatri Mantra“. This is a very powerful mantra for the worship of the Divine radiant light. Gayatri represents the Divine Light, the mother of the Vedas and the wife of Brahma the Creator. Thus we read: „Om, we want to look at the desirable radiance of Savitri. May He enlighten our understanding.“ Savitri represents the feminine part of the solar deity Surya, which symbolizes the divine, all-pervading levels of the light, Brahman. The translation of this mantra into English : „I bow to Shiva, the Most High God, which carries the crescent moon on his forehead.
