In November 2017 hemp foods became legalised in Australia. This week we chat to Georgia Branch, co-founder of Hemple a hemp food company that's leading the way for this new category. We ask Georgia all of those questions about the difference between hemp and cannabis as well as the challenges faced in branding something that's so new to market and comes with a level of stigma attached. Is this just another health food fad in Australia? What are the real benefits of hemp products and how ethical is the farming process? We delve into this and more on this episode of Maker & Creator.

In this episode of Maker & Creator we chat to cafe owner, former DJ and self-professed socialist Stephen Dyer about the state of Sydney nightlife, the rise of coffee culture in Australia and take a look at why everyone (in Sydney at least) is so content to spend $21 on avocado toast. As the beers and red wine flow we make wild predictions about future generations and discuss what’s inspired a more environmentally conscious society in recent years. This leads us to Stevie’s latest venture Clay Cups Australia and the power social media can have on small business.
