Wayne’s Comics Podcast #518: Interview with J. Gonzo Jan 09, 2022

Show notes

Ready for a fun and informative conversation? Episode 518 features J. Gonzo from La Mano del Destino, the newest crowdfunding project at zoop.gg!

If you are a fan of Lucha Libre wrestling or even if you’re not, this terrific series will engage and delight you! Here’s how it is described: “In this NEW series that starts off with this '80-Page Giant' comic, we see La Mano del Destino grapple with his most insidious opponent yet: the siren call and casual compromise of a glamorous lifestyle beyond his wildest imaginings. An old friend also re-emerges in desperate need of La Mano del Destino’s help, but can he remain focused enough to fulfill the duties of his newfound position while also appeasing the obligations of this new lifestyle? As La Mano’s successes afford him the opportunity to become a very different kind of celebrity, this series will explore both his world AND the one posited on the silver screen.” We delve into how this book came to be, who the characters are, and what we can expect from the second series, coming soon! It’s off to a great start, but you can help it reach its funding goal by going to zoop.gg and backing this project as soon as you listen to this interview! Don’t miss it!
