You never saw it coming. It sneaked up on you, like the first solar snow of the cycle. You slowly look up from the blade piercing your belly into the eyes of a Space Marine. You spit. They are filthy creatures, brainwashed servants of a Corpse-Emperor. You raise your pistol for one last shot, and your vision fades. In a violent torrent, you burst out of your body. The Empyrean calls, and you feel drawn to its crooning. And yet, something holds you back. Something begins to tug you the other way, back toward reality. You... twist and turn, and there it is, your new haven. Shining as bright as a thousand suns it overtakes your senses, until you see nothing else. Piece by infinitesimally small piece you are drawn into this Stone. This protected place. As the tumult of this experience wanes, you take comfort in the knowledge that She who Devours has been denied your soul. Your Path of the Dead has begun. In this episode we discuss what happens to an Eldar after they die. Where do they go? What do they do? And maybe most importantly, why do they do this? Joining us for this episode are James, and Rio.

Metal monsters. Amalgamations of alloy and automation. The Legio Cybernetica have been creating nightmares for tens of thousands of years. They have a dark and mysterious past, and would do their best to make sure it remains that way. They are the robotic branch of the Adeptus Mechanicus, and only concern themselves with pure robotics. In this episode we discuss everything from robots to A.I. It's especially good since none of us know what we are talking about. Joining us for todays release are Micah, and for the last time, Christian.

"They were forged for Mankind's darkest hour - and that hour is upon us." — Lord Commander Roboute Guilliman With the resurrection of Roboute, he was able to finally unleash a plan 10,000 years in the making. Calling upon his loyal servant Cawl, a new wave of super soldiers joined the Imperium's battles across the entire galaxy! These fresh warriors would soon be baptized by fire, emerging from the crucible of war as the newest hope for a beleaguered race. These are the Primaris Marines. In this episode we talk about the history of the Primaris Marines. It has been mostly fleshed out at this point, so we figured it was time to put their existence into perspective. Enjoy! Lorehammer Lockdown: Cold Open Stories with Colyn Apr 10, 2020

This episode is a love letter to everyone that contributes to the Warhammer 40k universe. All we want to do is see more and more people get into 40k and appreciate it for what it is. We want people to write stories, play epic battles, model awesome minis, and film great shows. And the more that we focus on including people in the artistic process the more ideas and talent that we will have access to. Listen to Colyn share some of the AMAZING success that he has had with his Cold Open Stories. Fully endorsed by Lorehammer. 10/10. Would audition again. No matter that he didn't pick me to be in it. It's fine. I barely even remember the role. It's not like I wrote extensive backstory for him...
