Once again we dove deep into the Lorehammer vaults to uncover this episodes listener submissions. In this episode we read through Redeemable Grace's Imperial Navy story of the Twins of Forgeworld Jupiter, Robert's cold open story of (we presume) a member of the Astra Militarum, Tom's story of an unknown Xenos race, and David's story of the planet Verusia. Joining us on this episode is a very special guest, Paul from Forge the Narrative and 40k Today! It was absolutely awesome to have him on the show, and we look forward to the next time we get to hang out! If you have a story you want to submit for us to read, send it to us at lorehammerpodcast@gmail.com.

There are many different Imperial Guard regiments in service to our great Imperium, though few have the reputation of the Death Korps. Born into service, if you can call it that, they are tenacious, reckless, and dangerous. Their entire lives are spent in the trenches of the Emperor's battles, their only release is death given in His name. They are a Cult of Sacrifice; birthed only to die, living only to kill. This episode is all about the Death Korps of Krieg! The regiment is absolutely awesome, a perfect representation of the horror of war in the 41st millennium.Joining us for this episode is James, and a brand new guest, Josh, who just so happens to be a new 40k player, in the trenches with the Kriegsmen.

In this second episode of our Flora and Fauna focused releases, we go through several of the Dark Heresy role playing games published by Fantasy Flight Games including the Dark Heresy Core Rulebook (2008), Dark Heresy Game Master's Kit (2008), Dark Heresy Edge of Darkness (2009), and Dark Heresy Disciple of the Dark Gods (2008). We scoured them to find all the examples of non sentient life we could! As it turns out... almost all of it wants to eat you... go figure. Joining us for this episode are Rio and Brianna!

(Video) What is Warhammer 40,000 Aug 28, 2020

Show notes

With the advent of 9th edition and Games Workshop's #new40k, we decided to create a video that we think highlights the most important aspects of Warhammer 40,000. This episode is meant to be a place where those who have little to no knowledge of the universe can learn just enough to get their gears turning. There are many different ways to experience the grim darkness of the far future, and this episode will hopefully give you enough direction to choose a path catered just for you!Joining us for this episode, is our faithful friend James, Bane of Mantis Shrimps.
