Show notes
The Chicago White Sox shake up the playoff race, proving they're no longer MLB’s surprise team. With a fearless brand of baseball and key performances from Colson Montgomery, the White Sox dominate both the Atlanta Braves and the Los Angeles Dodgers, lighting up the scoreboard and putting the league on notice. Can this newfound confidence propel them deep into October?
Host Todd Welter breaks down the Sox’s recent 4-1 stretch, highlights Tristan Peters' clutch moments, and explores how this tight-knit clubhouse is rewriting expectations. Discussion heats up around the pitching staff’s inconsistencies—Sean Burke’s struggles and Mike Vasil’s unique value—while prospects like Caleb Bonemer surge and questions about pitching development mount. Is the organization shifting from a pitching-first pipeline to a new hitter-friendly era? Tune in for insights on rising stars, clubhouse dynamics, and what’s next for a White Sox team that's suddenly scary good.
