Though they stumbled in Game 3, the Nets had nearly everything working in Game 5 to take the series at home at Barclays. It was a great game for James Harden who put up a triple-double and the Celtics had no answer.

They have to start off things talking about Kyrie Irving and the incident that took place in the post-game after the win. A Celtics fan threw a bottle at Kyrie Irving’s head while the latter walked to the locker room. The fan was arrested and the guys talk about this kind of stupidity happening more and more in these playoffs.

Then they talk about the persistent big man/ frontcourt issues the team has right now. It looks bad without Jeff Green and the Nets aren’t getting much out of their bigs right now. They discuss what solutions are and how this could be a big problem in the next round against the Bucks.

Brooklyn Nets take Game 4 against the Celtics May 31, 2021

The Brooklyn Nets took Game 4 over the Boston Celtics in a game it was really nice to see them win. It was a borderline must-win game in this series with Boston playing very shorthanded without Kemba Walker among others The Nets struggled through the first quarter in which they allowed Boston to hang, but then kept their foot on the gas for the rest of the game. Kyrie Irving had a great game with 39 points in a bounce-back performance after he struggled in Game 3.

And then there was Kevin Durant who dropped 42 points and got a little chippy too. It was a great game for the Brooklyn offense who needed to respond after the loss last game.

The Locked on Nets guys are back at it for a Monday podcast breaking down the Nets Saturday night win over the Boston Celtics. After starting slow for the first half, things looked a little bleak with how the team was playing. They came out rusty and disjointed.
