The Nets have sometimes struggled to fill the center position in a meaningful and consistent way over the last few seasons. The quotes from Marks were interesting and some were seemingly directed at Kyrie Irving and the availability piece heading into next season. Simmons underwent a microdiscectomy which is a procedure that helps with issues around herniated discs.
