Week 7 of NBA fantasy basketball explodes with 22 teams playing four games each—a "big chungus" schedule that offers savvy managers massive streaming potential. Josh Lloyd breaks down vital strategy pivots, from maximizing quality games outside the 12-game Friday logjam to exploiting teams like Brooklyn, Golden State, and Washington, who dodge the Friday slate entirely. Should you hold or cut fringe Suns, Kings, or Thunder players stuck with just two games? Is it time to triple production by cycling out Dylan Brooks, Ryan Dunn, or Isaiah Joe for multi-game streamers?
Key insights include optimal streaming moves, strategic use of back-to-backs, and which waiver options—like Ryan Kalkbrenner, Noah Clowney, and Moses Moody—are automatic weekly starters. Injury and rest risks for stars such as LeBron James, Kristaps Porzingis, and Joel Embiid are addressed, alongside looming returns for O.G. Anunoby, Victor Wembanyama, and Jrue Holiday. Can your fantasy roster withstand the week’s unique scheduling chaos and surge up the standings?
