Pittman Jr. and Jonathan Taylor will have instant impacts in Indy. Taylor might even be Zeke 2.0 behind Indy's o-line, too. Julian Blackmon is a versatile chess piece, while Jacob Eason was perfect value at No. 122 overall.

Diving even further into the Day 3 picks, Thor loves himself some Danny Pinter. He's set up well to be the eventual starting right guard in a few years. Also, what does Indy have in Isaiah Rodgers, Dezmon Patmon, and Glasgow?

Also, what are some games you should watch to get a better feel on Eason as a prospect? Caple drops some suggestions while analyzing Eason's tenure with the Huskies. Even though Washington underperformed, the arm talent is undeniable.

Christian believes Eason sitting behind Rivers for two years plus having the system in place around him is the best long-term spot for him. Will Eason truly be Indy's QB answer?

We close with GM Chris Ballard and head coach Frank Reich's answers from their post-draft press conference with the local media. All things Eason from Indy's braintrust.

LOCKED ON COLTS 4/27/20: Recapping the Colts' strong 2020 draft class Apr 27, 2020
    Show notes

On today's episode, George Bremer of The Herald Bulletin is back to go over the Colts' 2020 draft. What were the biggest takeaways, and what should be the expectations for some of these prospects?

Michael Pittman Jr. and Jonathan Taylor in Round 2 is as instant impact as it gets. MPJ will be Indy's WR2 while Taylor and Marlon Mack combine for a lethal 1-2 backfield punch. By the way, what does the future hold for Mack following Taylor being drafted?

Julian Blackmon is a versatile Swiss Army knife, but don't expect much in 2020. The same goes for Jacob Eason at QB in Round 4, but the ceiling is through the roof with Frank Reich coaching him up.

Danny Pinter will be Indy's new Joe Haeg, but could he be groomed to take Mark Glowinski's spot in 2022?

All of this, plus so much more on this jam-packed episode!

LOCKED ON COLTS 4/25/20: Reaction to Colts drafting Michael Pittman Jr., Jonathan Taylor, Julian Blackmon, Jacob Eason, and Danny Pinter Apr 25, 2020
    Show notes

On today's episode, IndyStar's Jim Ayello joins to talk through the Colts' surprising draft thus far.

Starting it off on Day 2 with Michael Pittman Jr. and Jonathan Taylor, Indy has added two explosive pieces to their offense who will be instant impact playmakers. What's the ceiling for MPJ and Taylor in Indy?

With their final pick on Day 2, a surprise in Julian Blackmon. The versatile Utah safety could be the eventual replacement to Malik Hooker, or even Quincy Wilson as well. Indianapolis moved back 10 spots and still secured Blackmon.

On Day 3, the Colts kicked it off with QB Jacob Eason. His slide was long, but Indy was reportedly very interested. Is Eason the future of the franchise?

Rounding out our reactions, Ball State guard Danny Pinter was selected right before we recorded. The local product could be Indy's new version of Joe Haeg.

LOCKED ON COLTS 4/24/20: Colts don't trade up for sliding QB in Round 1, Day 2 predictions Apr 24, 2020
    Show notes

On today's episode, we recap the Colts not moving up on Day 1 of the 2020 NFL Draft. As Jordan Love slid down the board, many were prepared for Indy to capitalize. They did not as Green Bay moved up to No. 26 for the price of a 4th-round pick. The lack of aggressiveness showed Love wasn't in their plans.

Now, what's going to happen for the Colts on Day 2? Expect a lot of trade action plus addressing needs at wideout, offensive line, defensive line, and secondary. We close with a Day 2 mock draft, which includes a trade back from No. 34.

This should be fun, so buckle in Colts fans!

LOCKED ON COLTS 4/21/20: Malik Hooker and Quincy Wilson trade rumors + buzz growing on FIU QB James Morgan Apr 22, 2020
    Show notes

On today's episode, Stephen Reed of Stampede Blue joins to discuss some Colts rumors percolating leading up to the 2020 NFL Draft. According to reports, Malik Hooker has been a target for other teams in trade talks. Will Indy give him up, and if so what's the price?

Also, Quincy Wilson is another hot name mentioned on the trading block. With Wilson's days seemingly numbered with the organization, we quickly look back on a disappointing stint.

FIU QB James Morgan has continued to stay in contact with Indy, per ESPN's Mike Wells. Morgan met with the Colts throughout the pre-draft process. Is Morgan their guy, and maybe possible franchise QB eventually? If the upside isn't that hight, Morgan at least provides high-end backup qualities.

Closing out the show, we go over the Jordan Love buzz about Indy souring on him. If Peter King's intel is right, Love likely won't be a Colt. Stephen ends it with his final draft predictions before Indy goes on the clock officially.

    Show notes

On today's episode, 1070 The Fan's Kevin Bowen joins the show to help recap Colts GM Chris Ballard's pre-draft press conference plus much more.

Is Indy content with their QB situation right now? Will a QB early still be on the radar or no?

Ballard's non-commitment to Malik Hooker raised some eyebrows. Is a safety possibly in play? Also, what about Quincy Wilson? Will he meet the same fate as Henry Anderson and Hassan Ridegway?

Bowen also hits on the prototype Indy wants in prospects, with a deeper dive into the wideout group. Will the Colts move up, down, or stay put at No. 34? All of these questions are broken down with a lot of in-depth analysis.

It's draft week, Colts fans! This is a must-listen LOC x Kevin's Corner.

    Show notes

On today's episode, George Bremer of The Herald Bulletin is back to go in-depth on the 2020 NFL Draft. What could the Colts have up their sleeves on draft night?

Bremer believes the Colts could target OT and WR early, but be on the lookout for running back. That's right, we discuss the argument of running back value. Is it worth it to pay Marlon Mack long-term money or draft a replacement like J.K. Dobbins early or Darrynton Evans late?

We go over prospects at QB who could intrigue the Colts on Day 3, plus WRs in the 34-44 range. Evan and George run through the whole draft gamut, so you won't want to miss this one!
