Show notes
Nobody wants a 24-team college football playoff except the greedy conference commissioners like Tony Petitti, Greg Sankey, Jim Phillips and Brett Yormark plus ESPN! College football has the best regular season in sports and they are ruining it by letting "everybody" in the CFP! Take this past weekend, for example. Five of the top seven teams lost (Mostly SEC teams by the way). With this year's 12-team college football playoff, teams that lost are getting nervous about making the CFP. That adds excitement. With a 24-team college football playoff losses are no big deal. The expanded field acts as a safety net. But we say September and October games have to mean something! That's what makes college football such a big deal on Saturdays.
Meanwhile we discuss the latest on Julian Sayin's injury at Ohio State and how long he may be out. Plus we talk about how Sayin's injury will effect Jeremiah Smith's Heisman hopes.
We have some bad news for about the Oregon Ducks as their leading wide receiver Evan Stewart got arrested after Saturday night's win over Nebraska. We highlight the Big Ten football players of the week and we close out with our weekly Tuesday Tweets!
