In this program, Chip gives us three specific action steps for becoming a more loving person. The conclusion comes down to a single sentence, a single attitude, that'll change everything about how you love others. Don't miss it.

    Introduction: “What’s going on?”

    • One of God’s greatest joys is to see His children LOVE EACH OTHER.
    • A prayer that only you can answer -John 17
    • Paul commands what Jesus prayed -Philippians 2:1-2

    Structure of passage:

    The context

    • Conflict without - Philippians 1:29-30
    • Conflict within -Philippians 4:2

    The command

    • Live in authentic, Christ-empowered unity -Philippians 2:1-2

    The structure

    • If you have any encouragement in Christ,
    • If any comfort from His love.
    • If any fellowship with the Spirit,
    • If any tenderness and compassion… - Philippians 2:1

Then make my joy complete by…

    1. Being of the same mind
    2. Maintaining the same love
    3. United in spirit
    4. Intent on one purpose. -Philippians 2:2

    The Platinum Rule:

    • “Do unto others as God has already done unto you.”

How to become a more loving person:

    1. Choose to declare war on SELFISHNESS -Philippians 2:3
    2. Attack the root of the problem… PRIDE -Philippians 2:3
    3. Choose to PRACTICE HUMILITY daily by putting others’ needs and interests ahead of your own -Philippians 2:4

How To Overcome Boredom and the Blues, Part 2 Jan 30, 2026
    Show notes

How do you overcome the blues? Is there a way to take those dreary, depressing feelings and drive them from your mind and heart? Find out by joining Chip, as he teaches: “How to Overcome Boredom and the Blues.”

Introduction: “I was looking for life in all the wrong places.”

    • What is boredom?
    • Why are we bored?
    • Why do “the blues” and boredom go hand-in-hand?
    • Could “boredom” be a gift in disguise?

God’s answer to boredom = Authentic worship

    What is Authentic Worship?

    • Definition – Worship is our response to God for who He is and what He has done.
    • Romans 12:1
    • Summary – Worship is the complete and total giving of ourselves for that which we believe has ULTIMATE PURPOSE and will provide the GREATEST REWARD.

    3 Principles for authentic worship:

    1. Authentic worship can happen ANYWHERE. -John 4:21-22
    2. Authentic worship flows from the HEART. -John 4:23
    3. Authentic worship is rooted in an ACCURATE view of God and of ourselves. -John 4: 24

How can you experience greater intimacy in worship?

    • Private worship = A.C.T.S.
    • Public worship = The 3 “P’s”

Conclusion: Worship is not a service you come to or an activity you practice; worship is a life-focus, an expression of your deepest longings, passions, and devotion to whom or what you love the most.

How To Overcome Inferiority and Low Self-Image, Part 2 Jan 26, 2026
    Show notes

Are you struggling with feelings of inferiority? Has your self-esteem been crushed by a soured relationship or job loss? Chip shares how you can rise above those feelings of inferiority and a low self-esteem to experience God’s love for you like never before.

    Distorted mirrors destroy our lives:

    • The Appearance Mirror
    • The Performance Mirror
    • The Status Mirror

Thesis – Until we see ourselves as God sees us, we are destined to FEEL INFERIOR.

    3 keys to a Biblical self-image:

    1. Get God’s View of You = KNOWLEDGE

    You are significant because:

    • You're UNIQUE -Gen 1:27, Ps 139:13-14
    • You're LOVED -1 Sam 16:7, Jer 31:3
    • You're VALUABLE -1 Cor 6:19-20
    • You're SECURE -Eph 1:13
    • You're INDISPENSIBLE -Eph 2:10, 4:15-16

    2. Believe God’s View is True = FAITH

    • Faith is built on God’s Word -Rom 10:17
    • Faith grows through mind renewal -Rom 12:2
    • Develop a plan to remove the distorted mirrors of the world with the mirror of God’s Word -Jam 1:22-24

    3. Discover the “You” that’s True = EXPERIENCE

    • Unwrap your SPIRITUAL GIFTS -1 Cor 12, Rom 12
    • Unleash your SPIRITUAL PASSION -Ps 37:4
    • Use your God-given TALENTS -Ex 31:3
    • Embrace your God-given PERSONALITY -1 Cor 2:11
    • Leverage your past EXPERIENCE -Rom 8:28

Ministry is how God makes what’s true “of” us, true “in” us. Sometimes it’s only in the act of “loving others: that we can fathom that we ourselves are loved!
