    Show notes

In today’s episode, host Marc Clair welcomes in Greg Carlwood, the host of “The Higher Side Chats” - a podcast all about the weird, the fringe, and - dare we say it - the conspiracy theories. Greg explains how a visionary moment led him out of the nine to five and into the wild world of conspiracy theories. Greg and Marc go on to discuss a wide range of topics covering everything from 9/11 to the Titanic (yes, there’s a conspiracy there!) to alcohol prohibition (and there too!) and take on the “OG” of modern conspiracies by looking at some of the evidence suggesting the moon landing may have been faked. Take a breather from the ins and outs of libertarian philosophy, and get ready to get weird!

The pickings were plentiful, as Rand has been a busy boy between fighting the good (and sometimes bad) fight in the Senate while also juggling his hit-and-miss presidential campaign. Brian and Marc examine numerous issues, including Rand’s re-introduction of “Audit the Fed,” his statements on gay marriage, Syrian refugees, ISIS, his focus on justice reform and much more. They also give Rand an official grade for 2015.
