LoLP 188: Tenth GOP Debate Reaction Show Feb 29, 2016
    Show notes

In this episode of the Lions of Liberty Podcast, guest host Brian McWilliams steps up to the plate as master of ceremonies to break down the 10th GOP debate. Brian is accompanied by Howie Snowdon, J.B. Lubin and legal counsel Rico. This most recent debate was by far the most chaotic and ridiculous, with poor Wolf Blitzer looking like a professional wrestling referee, having control in theory only, and the Lions pull no punches analyzing the anarchy that reigned over the stage. Brian and the crew pick apart foreign policy stances, healthcare, trade and the always popular topic of regime change, while lamenting a reversal of fortune for one candidate in particular who had won some libertarian points in the previous debate.

Marc Clair once again welcomes Sir Randsalot’s squire, Brian McWilliams into the studio, where they discuss the Paul campaign, what went wrong, what libertarians can take away from watching Rand’s ultimately failed efforts, and whether or not his running was a good or bad thing all-in-all. Show notes

In today’s episode, host Marc Clair welcomes in the founder and President of LBRY- pronounced “Library” - Jeremy Kaufman! LBRY is a brand new way for people to share content with each other utilizing block chain technology, similar to how Bitcoin functions. Before we get into the nerdy details, Jeremy explains how he first became interested in political ideas - first through receiving some unsatisfactory answers to questions posed to his schoolteachers, and later through the writings of leftist antiwar writer Howard Zinn. Jeremy lays out the genesis for the concept of LBRY - what motivated it’s creation, and what the goals are with the project.
