Pageantry Didn't Die. Its Business Model Did. Sep 21, 2026
    Show notes

Pageantry didn't suddenly stop mattering. The world around it changed—and the business model didn't change fast enough.

In Part 1 of Life After the Crown: Rebuilding Pageantry, Tim Tialdo examines the economics behind the industry's decline and asks a fundamental question: What happens when an industry built around television audiences, sponsorships, and cultural relevance keeps operating as if the old model still works?

This episode looks beyond declining viewership and shrinking visibility to examine the underlying business problem: how pageantry created value in its strongest years, what changed as television and consumer behavior evolved, and why simply recreating the past isn't a strategy for the future.

But this series isn't an obituary for pageantry. It's about rebuilding it.

Over four episodes, Rebuilding Pageantry examines the money, contestants, customers, and companies that make up the pageant ecosystem—and explores what would have to change for the industry to become culturally relevant, commercially sustainable, and genuinely valuable again.

Part 1 begins with the money—because before you can rebuild an industry, you have to understand the business underneath it.

The War on Beauty: Can Pageants Be Saved? Sep 04, 2025
    Show notes

Pageantry is in crisis. Miss Universe is tangled in financial chaos. Miss USA is losing trust by the day. Miss America has faded into irrelevance. And contestants? They see it. They feel it. They're tired of pretending everything's fine.

For five years, Life After the Crown has been silent. But in this episode, I'm breaking that silence with a hard truth: if pageantry is going to matter again, it needs courage. It needs vision. It needs leaders who are willing to stop waiting and start leading.

In this no-holds-barred conversation, I expose the cultural rot, the corruption, and the cowardice holding pageantry back — and I lay out why beauty, dignity, and truth are still worth fighting for. You may agree with me. You may disagree. And that's fine. But if we don't start this conversation now, there won't be anything left to save.

This isn't just a commentary. It's a rallying cry. Because pageantry once inspired a nation — and it can again.
