    Comedian and Actress Lace Larrabee - How Pageants Helped Me Become Successful As a Comedian and Actress Feb 19, 2019

    She created and teaches Atlanta's first and only all-female stand-up comedy class, boasting almost 100 graduates in its first year. She's been seen on Viceland, FOX, The Weather Channel, EPIX and is currently a cast member of FB Watch's newest scripted dark comedy, Queen America starring Catherine Zeta Jones.

    Her pageant experience started at age 13. She held 4 local titles in the Georgia Miss America Organization, resulting in $26,000 worth of scholarship awards.

    After MAO, Lace continued to compete in the GA USA system, always receiving a finalist spot.

    Although she never held a state title, she's currently seeking anyone who makes counterfeit birth certificates so she can continue to compete for that coveted title she's been missing.

    She and her comedian husband love performing together, riding mountain bikes and recording their newly released podcast called "American Couple."

    Miss USA 1996 Ali Landry - Winning Miss USA, Being The Doritos Girl and Life as an Entrepreneurial Mom Feb 12, 2019

    She hit mainstream stardom when in 1998, she became the spokesperson for the Doritos chips brand, and appeared in Super Bowl TV commercials 3 consecutive years in a row as the Doritos Girl. She also landed recurring roles in "Felicity," "Two Guys and a Girl," "Sunset Beach," and "Popular." Her sudden rise to fame landed her on People Magazine's 50 Most Beautiful People in the World list in 1998 alongside Leonardo DiCaprio and Gwyneth Paltrow.

    She also hosted the music-talk show "FarmClub.com," NBC's "Spy TV," and WE's "Full Frontal Fashion," which led to her first Times Square billboard, "Fashion Wraps" on TV Guide Network and numerous other shows. From 2003 to 2006, she was a regular cast member of the UPN sitcom Eve. She was a runner up on the show Fear Factor and is an avid athlete and also participated in the Boston Marathon.

    Her house has been featured on E!'s celebrity homes and on MTV's Cribs. She also been listed as one of FHM magazine's 100 Sexiest Women in the World numerous times.

    In 2012 she became the new face and spokesmodel of Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula.

    Today she is the founder of Re-Shape, an on-line platform where she can share her adventures and personal network of her most trusted specialists and her favorite products with women around the world.

    She and her husband Alejandro have three children and reside in Los Angeles.

    She can be seen daily, on-air reporting news and traffic for NY1 News on Spectrum in New York City. As well as, the annual Veterans Day Parade on PIX 11 News.

    In 2015, she became the game day host for the NHL's, New York Islanders, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. You can catch her at every home game.

    She is also a former dancer for the NFL's New York Jets Flight Crew Cheerleaders.

    As an actress and producer, her film credits include the roles in the movies Space Warriors, Redeemed, Heartbeats, and in the television dramas "Nashville" on ABC and "Still the King" on CMT. She hosts the nationally televised Inspirational Country Music Awards each year from Nashville, TN.

    Her first book, "Faith in the Spotlight – Thriving in Your Career While Staying True to Your Beliefs," was released by Simon and Schuster in 2016.

    She now splits time between New York City and Nashville, TN. She and her husband have 2 sons and a dog named Indiana.

    The brand quickly grew under their creative direction and within a few years was being sold in major retail stores including Saks, Bloomingdales and Nordstrom. The last 3 years have been particularly successful as they have grown their business and audience significantly since launching their bridesmaids and maternity collection.

    They most recently launched the MUTernity line, and then in April of 2018 Cammy welcomed her first baby, Magnolia May Miller.

    Miss USA 1995 Shanna Moakler - Life In The Spotlight and Running The Miss Nevada And Utah USA Pageants Jan 08, 2019

    At the age of 19 she won the Miss New York USA title and soon after took home the prestigious title of Miss USA 1995, the youngest to do so in a decade. She then moved to LA, to start a career in television in film.

    She quickly landed a series regular role on "Pacific Blue" for the USA Network, and also appeared in films, including THE WEDDING SINGER, and BIG MAMA'S HOUSE 2.

    In 2005, she starred in MTV's hit series "Meet the Barkers." The show allowed viewers into her life with then husband Travis Barker, documenting the couple's daily life, including planning their wedding. Starring on the series also opened doors with other non-scripted programs, including "Dancing with the Stars" for ABC [2006].

    Aside from scripted and non-scripted projects, She has experience in the hosting world, working with E! Entertainment and VH1, and appearing on "Bridalplasty," "Crowned: The Mother of All Pageants," and doing red carpet corresponding for The Academy Awards.

    Pageants however have remained a BIG part of her life as she is currently the executive producer for Miss Nevada and Utah USA pageants.

    I've been chasing her down for a few months, and finally connected with here, so excited to have Shanna Moakler on the podcast!

    In 1998 she was recognized by the Miss Universe Organization and presented with The Life Time Achievement Award for her philanthropy work.

    She Hosted the Miss Florida Pageant in 2015, was a Judge for the Miss Universe Pageant in 2015, and Judged the Miss USA Pageant 2016 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

    She is presently writing a book on the pageant industry, helping women how to cope with the demands of the beauty industry and self-esteem issues. She offers seminars, workshops and coaching for women in the beauty, modeling and pageant industries.

    Her new company, The Business of Beauty, with her partner, Jane Bebita, coaches women in the transition from being title holders, going into the business arena, to understand the power of personal branding and endorsements, for the longevity of their business careers.

    No doubt a stellar resume and career full of accomplishments, excited to welcome Michelle McClean to the podcast!
