When Sara looks back on her younger years and the communities she found herself in, she knows now that they were dripping with the telltale signs of coercive control and social pressure. In Part 1 of my conversation with Sara, we take a trip down memory lane, visiting each group starting with her first experiences as a teenager. Through the years looking for community, Sara eventually finds herself climbing the pyramid of Shaklee and realizing it might not be all that it seems.

On April 11th, the MLM Modere, who had been in business for over 23 years, shocked it's reps and shut it doors unexpectedly. That same day, I got a text from Maile, letting me know that since Modere was gone, she was finally free to tell her story and share the secrets she knew about the company. In this juicy tell all we talk about some of the more outrageous special perks top reps received and speculate about why they closed and who had advance knowledge of it.
