Events! If done correctly, these are the moments that will build and sustain your organization into the next 18 months. If done incorrectly, though, these can kill off your donors and your volunteerism We're Ted and Lisa Snyder, and between us have been nonprofit volunteers, leaders, staff, board members, and consultants. We have seen small events raise thousands and events with hundreds barely break even. We've seen free events make a huge impact for a nonprofit AND we've seen expensive galas make a huge impact for a nonprofit.
