I Make English Lessons For You! (And I Love It!) Feb 03, 2021
    Show notes

This English lesson will be a little bit different. I thought I would just take a moment and explain to all my English learners the different types of lessons that I make.
Some of you are new here. Some of you have been around for a while. Regardless of how long you've been here you may not all be aware of the different free English classes and lessons I offer.
I make short English lessons every Tuesday. These are very concise and practical lessons that sometimes can also be entertaining and funny. In these videos I teach phrasal verbs, grammar, phrases, and sometimes I'll take you somewhere and teach you English on the spot, like at a gas station or at a restaurant.
I do a live English class every Friday at 7:30AM Eastern Standard Time. This class is on a specific topic, and is a great place to learn new English vocabulary and phrases. You can also ask me a question during the lesson. Please note a shorter version of this English learning video also comes out two days later for review.
I do a live Question and Answer lesson on Saturdays at 11:00AM Eastern Standard Time. During this class you can ask me a question about the English language and I'll do my best to give you an answer.
I also have a second Youtube channel where I create more advanced lessons every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. This lesson is great for English learners who are interested in learning phrases, phrasal verbs, slang and hearing regular everyday English. You can find that channel right here. Don't forget to subscribe!

It won't be a happy lesson, but it will be a good lesson.
It is January in Canada and the days are short and we're not allowed to go out right now and that made me think about doing a class on sad things.
I'll help you learn English words and phrases to talk about death and breakups, when accidents happen and homesickness. I'll make sure to teach more than just the vocabulary words. I'll also include lots of example sentences during the class as well.
I hope this English lesson helps you learn a bit more English! Have a great day!

5 Brain Games to Help You Learn to Think in English! Jan 27, 2021
    Show notes

When you learn English it can be a bit boring. Learning to think in English can be hard. Games can make it more fun, and help you be more productive with your time! In this English lesson I'll teach you how to play 5 words games in your mind to help you practice your English while you are riding the train, when you're somewhere busy, or while driving in a car! This is super convenient learning, and these games can be played all by yourself!
These games are designed to help you start thinking in English. Thinking in English is accomplished by forcing yourself throughout the day to routinely think and say things about your surroundings. These games will help you do that. You'll learn games that use the alphabet, games that use opposites, games that use descriptions and more.
Each game will help you practice a different aspect of the English language. Some are for practicing English words you know, others, along with a dictionary app, will help you learn new words!
I hope you enjoy this English lesson where you'll learn how to play 5 games in your mind as you practice your English!
    Have a great day!
