Justin McClure calls October 21st his second birthday because that's the day he got sober (October 21st, 2012). Sobriety can be tough. Addiction comes in many shapes and sizes, and Justin's honesty might be something you relate to.

Do parents have a favorite child? Is it ok to have a favorite child? In this episode, we talk about some feedback and comments that deal with folks thinking we have a favorite (child). The truth is we love our kids the same, all of them. We have three kids: Ava, Alexis, and Jersey, and have equal love for them all. It's our job to care for our children, provide for them; only judgments of their actions and personality could grant one as a favorite.

#39 IT WAS DAD'S FAULT (school update) Sep 16, 2019

The kids are in school (Montessori). Jersey and the twins, Ava and Alexis, all attend the same school. The girls have adjusted fine in Georgia, they are having a great time, and their teachers say they are leaders in the classroom and model students. Jersey is also doing well - he could be the most polite baby ever! His teacher says that Jersey is super smart, puts things away, listens well, and helps other students. We are so proud of our kids.

So what is Dad's fault? You'll have to listen! lol, but it was a golf outing gone crazy. Maybe Justin McClure (dad) should not have let the twins drive the golf cart!

YUP, you read that right! We purchased a home off the WORLD WIDE WEB! During our last trip to ATL, we were in search of the perfect house but came back to New Jersey with nothing. Luckily, a friend we had here in Georgia put us in contact with a Real Estate Agent who actually knew of a home that was not on the market yet. Our friend and the real estate agent really came together to assure we fell in love with this property. Together they stayed on top of recent renovations and sent video footage of the home's progress. We're already loving ATL and the warm welcome we've received. #34 WE'RE LIVING IN A HOTEL Aug 05, 2019

As you know, we are in the process of moving from New Jersey to Georgia. We've been living in hotels for 3 weeks since our NJ home had to be staged to sell. From California to New Jersey then later in Atlanta, GA, this process has taken a toll on our entire family, but the kids are holding up well. They still find ways to just be kids and have fun in our constantly changing environment. We can't wait until we're settled!

#33 This Is GOODBYE Jul 30, 2019

Goodbye's are sad and this one is no different, but sometimes there is happiness within a silver lining. The McClure family is moving from New Jersey to Georgia. While we are excited, it's also sad and stressful. We say goodbye to Jersey's and the twins daycare provider; Mrs. Dorcas has been amazing for our kids! She has enhanced the lives of our kids and we are thankful for that.

Ami and Justin McClure also talk about the sadness in leaving a place that helped build their success. New Jersey and New York has been good to the McClure family and we will always look back with fondness and happiness!

Atlanta, Georgia...here we come!

#30 The Truth About Surgery Jul 02, 2019

As my abdomen and chest area heals, I am still struggling with a weak core. I thought not being able to pick up Jersey would be the issue, but who knew my entire family would affect my recovery process. YES, MY FAMILY IS TOO FUNNY (LOL) and I cannot laugh without pain. Also, sneezing and coughing takes a lot out of me and I wish it can be avoided altogether. Nonetheless, thinking of the end results are enough to keep my mind off the pain. LISTEN for all the other aspects of recovery I was not expecting.

#25 Protective Parenting: Raising Child Stars Apr 08, 2019

The McClure Family (sans Justin) was in attendance at Beauty Con - a two-day convention festival centered around beauty - this past weekend. It was the assistant's first time at the front line of a huge, SOLD OUT event where the McClure Twins get to meet and interact directly with fans. It was a bit of an overwhelming experience but they survived the sold out event, almost unscathed but in one piece.

Ami & Justin McClure discuss the assistant's harrowing experience. While the family is grateful to be in their influential position, it is best everyone understands the boundaries of five year olds and at what length parents will go to protect their little loved ones.

#24 We almost LOST our Kids to a Stranger! Apr 01, 2019

In many of our teachings to our kids, we learn a lot about how we can be better parents. We were sadly mistaken when we assumed our Stranger Danger lessons were received well. Strangers come in many shapes, sizes, genders (obviously), but may even dress the part to lure their victims.

What we learned from this is that reiteration is key! Not only that, but we need to make sure our kids understand how to make the best judgement of anybody that walks into their lives, even if only for a moment.

#21 Jersey Has Been Really Sick Mar 11, 2019

It's frightening for your child to run a high-temperature. A baby cannot talk or explain how they are feeling, so it leaves parents in disarray and confusion. Jersey started running high fevers for no reason - he was eating well, acting normal, playing, but all of a sudden, BAM!, high fever. In this episode we talk about dealing with an infant/toddler who has a high-fever.

We NEED a Nanny. Our sanity and health depend on it. lol.

In this episode, Ami and Justin McClure discuss the necessity and positive benefits of having a Nanny. Justin thinks it will make him a better husband and father to have help with the kids. Ami desperately needs more help. #19 The Reason We Do This Feb 11, 2019

Why do we do this? We need to do this. The world needs more positive content. If we make others "feel good", then we've done our job. Maybe our content will pave the way for other creators and Influencers to create content that centers on principles and dignity (as we try to do).

Also, we do this because we enjoy creating memories, preserving time, and documenting our lives together. We are a family first and foremost. In the end, we strive to make videos and content that our kids, years from now, will love and be proud of.

#17 We Decided To Put the Twins in Speech Therapy Jan 21, 2019

Ava and Alexis McClure, "the McClure Twins", have an amazing vocabulary and excellent communication skills, but we feel they could use some speech therapy. This is not a bad thing, it's a good thing, and Justin and Ami talk about WHY they are putting the girls in speech therapy.

The girls have amazing futures ahead of them, and it's beneficial to them to be articulate and have great dictation (especially for acting). Much of this decision stems from Ami and Justin wanting the girls to be equipped with tools to succeed (at whatever they choose to do).

#15 How To Discipline Kids? Jan 07, 2019

In this episode, Ami and Justin McClure discuss various ways to discipline their kids. Authoritarian practices are preferred, kids need to know right and wrong, it's a parents role to guide their children to be great humans, but the right disciplinary measures can be confusing and difficult when balancing the emotions and intellects of children.

Justin has a unique way of disciplining his girls when they are "unruly"...make them eat food they don't want. The twins complain about eating vegetables and fruits, so Justin's new way of disciplining the girls is making them eat food they don't want (essentially making them more healthy).

Is it more important to be super popular with views or respected? We are a family first, and the most important thing is creating content that serves to raise our kids with dignity and purpose. It seems there is so much content centered around, "I need attention, look at me!". While we're not judging that material, it does not serve the people and doesn't make the world better. First off, Justin's toe might fall off. While visiting family, a large suitcase landed on his toe, and now it's many different colors. lol. Who knows what will happen? Justin specifically says death motivates him and leaving something worthwhile that his kids want to talk about and appreciate. Justin has 6 years of sobriety, but it wasn't easy. In this episode, he talks about the steps he took to achieve sobriety one day at a time. In 2012, after many setbacks from drugs, alcohol, and women, he saw a movie that changed his life: "Unguarded, the Chris Herren Story". In this movie, Justin saw part of himself and was disgusted, but then inspired to change...to be better...to be sober.
