Welcome to another WEEK of WEIRD with your ghostesses Ashley and Lauren! Each week we get together to share stories that are STRANGE and UNUSUAL and this week you'll have to meet us at the crossroads....

Ashley starts us off with an "I HAD A THOUGHT" where she discusses the difference between inner dialogue and channelling and how we should all be leaving offerings for our ancestors and loved ones who have passed on

Lauren has a THIS WEEK IN WEIRD where she tells the worst story imaginable about a funeral that couldn't have gone worse. I don't want to spoil anything for you but lets just say the deceased.... wasn't.

Ashley takes us into an AUSSIE NEWS where "news" is stretched to it's absolute thinnest as we travel back in time to 1935 when a murder was solved with evidence found in the most unlikeliest of places... the belly of a shark.

And finally Lauren finishes out the show with a brand new segment CURSED CROONERS AND SPOOKY SONGS (Brought to you by friend and former guest Melanie Vartabedian) where we discuss Robert Johnson who may have sold his soul to the devil! And also might be the very first to be inducted into "Club 27" an informal list of famous musicians who died at abruptly at that oh-so-mysterious age.

Hear Ye, Hear Ye weirdos!

Welcome to another WACKY episode of your favorite WEIRD show! On Keep It Weird, each week we get together to talk about something strange and unusual and this week we have monsters of all shapes, sizes and species.

You never know where we will go or what we will find so it's best to be extra prepared. Grab your thickest gloves (Trust me) make sure you've got your sleep masks ready and fire retardant clothing wouldn't hurt.

Lauren starts us off with a MISS FRIZZLE as we take our magical school bus into the human body to answer the question "Can humans hibernate?" We discuss whether or not ancient man ever slept for months at a time, if there is a chance we can make it happen again, and would it be used for space travel or just for those of us who want to skip the hot sticky summer?

Ashley takes us back in time for an ancient MONSTER WATCH as we discuss the existence of DRAGONS! The legend of a dragon has existed all throughout history– within cultures who had no contact with each other. Did they actually exist at one point? Are they a creation shared through a collective consciousness? Or are they just the scariest thing we can think of?

Then it's time to solve a crime in a super depressing TRUE CRIME TIME where nobody dies! But honestly, maybe it would have been better if they did. Lauren tells the story of Carlos- a man who was held captive by his own brother and sister for over TWENTY YEARS in what we now know… is a giant bird cage.

And finally we wrap it up with some immersion therapy that literally makes things worse. A JEEPERS CREEPERS (God I hate this so much) featuring TARANTULAS. Everything you never wanted to know about God's most creepy creature.

Hi weirdos welcome to another episode of KEEP IT WEIRD, the podcast for all things strange and unusual. Each week we get together to chat about something WEIRD and sometimes GROSS and this week it's GROSS!

Ashley starts us off with a REAL OR HOAX segment featuring the sad, strange and especially sick story of Mary Toft- a servant who lived in the 1700s who tried to make it out of her impoverished life with a fraud so vile it's hard to even type it up. Let's just say it involves innocent bunnies being shoved up a vagina. There's no way to beat around that bush.

Lauren swoops in to save the day with a CONSPIRACY THEORY that Queen Elizabeth I wasn't quite herself. In fact, she was so much so not herself that she was a man. Sure, part of the reasoning behind this conspiracy theory is misogynistic AF - but it's interesting nonetheless.

Debbie Downer brings us down again with a new segment called JEEPERS CREEPERS (I hate this so much) in which we discuss an incurable genetic disease called Fatal Familial Insomnia that kills you in less than a year by ENSURING you never enter REM again. And REM is my favorite part of sleep!

And finally, Lauren fails to cheer us up by taking us on a trip for a WHERE IN THE WORLD IS KEEP IT WEIRD GOING segment-- and Back to Tokyo we go! But this time there is no delicious Ramen. There is only hell. Meet us at the hottest date spot in Japan- the Meguro Parasitological Museum! Or you can call it by it's shorter name-- THE PARASITE MUSEUM. Home of the world's longest tapeworm!

Your girls are back for another week of WEIRD and this week is all over the place.

After we get our Vanderpump excitement out of the way Lauren starts us off with a TRUE CRIME TIME teaching us about the strange disappearance of Theresa Ann Bier. Her uncle took her camping one day in 1987 and she hasn't been seen since… I wonder… who did it.

Then Ashley takes us into the way WAY back machine with a little history lesson on King Richard III. This is a new segment called CALL MISS CLEO where we discuss PSYCHIC visions and after 500 years of looking for the lost King's remains - he was found. But the only explanation for his discovery may lie in the paranormal.

Lauren swings us forward juuuuust a tad as with an IT'S THE END OF THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT as we venture into 1948 when the small steel town of Donora Pennsylvania was nearly choked to death by a killer fog.

And finally Ashley wraps it up with a TERRIFYING TECHNOLOGY update where we learn that we currently have the ability to READ MINDS. And no that is not a euphemism… we can read actual thoughts.
