KS Cast 007- Manly Picnic Oct 23, 2012

Who needs a girlfriend when you have a Waifu? Ben and Kevin intimately discuss Katawa Shoujo with friends, as well as other big news stories that matter to them, and sometimes just their feelings.

Episode 007- Manly Picnic Oh, I'm sorry! Were you expecting the Emi installment to our Waifu of the Week Series? Too bad! We're taking a two week break from that to bring you Kenji instead. I understand if you are disappointed that you didn't get to hear Emi's episode this week(don't worry, she's my favorite too). But it'll come eventually. Besides, won't it be so much more worth it when all that waiting pays off, and you get to hear the best episode of KS Cast about the best girl? I think so. #obviousbias
Anyway, Kenji is our center of discussion this week. Kenji, we all know him. That Harry Potter look-alike who hates all things female and acts like that one loud obnoxious neighbor you can't stand to be around but also don't want him to leave. Let us take the time, tonight, to discuss our dear good ol' friend Kenji.
And top of all that, we have a guest this week! One that isn't just one of my friends this time! Known online as Kenji, because of his self-admin'd Facebook page of the same name, he has amassed almost 3,000 followers in his fight against the feminist army. We have the prestigious honor to talk to him about how he came to discover this little visual novel, what inspired him to create a fan page for it, and how managing to keep that many people entertained has affected him.
Manly Picnic. Be ready. Make sure your fence is secure and sturdy. We wouldn't want any accidents...

Haikus Just for You Oct 21, 2012
Show notes

I wrote these haikus For the ladies of my life Oh and Kenji too
Check it out after the break!
Lilly
Oh love is so blind. You can’t see my love for you. But you can feel it.
Lilly my angel, Silently sipping her tea A scene so lovely
Sitting down I see Blonde Hair whipping in the wind Holding hands we kiss
Hanako
The scars are painful I carry my own scarred heart Let me in your thoughts
That lovely beret Hides your own sorrow away “Reading again today?”
No need to be shy We all have something to hide For you I would die
Shizune
A voice so silent With actions heard so loudly Sign furiously
Glasses poised lightly Staring intently at me A sly smile shows
Girl you are crazy You work me over insane But I still love you.
Rin
With great artist’s grace Pain the canvas of my heart Memories cherished
Hard to understand Yet so much sense that you make A cloud in the sea
If you were a bell You would make my heart sing this RIN-a-rin-a-ding.
Emi You run so gracefully So breath taking in motion Chase the horizons
Her pig tails bouncing Walking alongside of me Her face is well lit
She is so lovely I can’t help but pick her up Into my embrace
Kenji
Oh no feminists! We have to infiltrate them! Can I borrow cash?
I do as I please. I go bowling in the halls. Screw librarians!
No napkins, all wine. This is a manly picnic. Oh and some pretzels.
................ And from the KS Crew..............
Thank you for reading Our day made with your visit Love y’all, from Vespers

5,000 Views! Oct 20, 2012
Show notes

Hey everyone! At the time of writing this, our little blog has amassed 5,003 pageviews. That is just amazing to me. In just a little over a month, that many people have come and seen our blog. And none of those are mine, by the way. I made sure not to track those, or we'd have about twice that amount.
So I just want to say thank you guys. This was originally made to entertain just a group of friends and I, but it has become so much more. I don't even know that many people. Your continued support is what keeps this blog alive and keeps the podcast on schedule(which reminds me, still need to record an episode. Maybe we'll have a guest?).
Hopefully your guys' love for this podcast will only grow and spread to others, so I could have even more people to love. Which is good, because I love loving people.
Thank you again for all the views! Here's to 5,000 more!

Hugs all around!

Episode 006- Waifu of the Week: Rin! If you've ever played through Rin's path, and asked yourself, "What just happened?", then you're not alone. Kevin and David are back again this week to talk with Ben about the confusing armless artist that is Rin Tezuka, asking questions that are respectful, relevant, and classy.
All leading up to the best Anglo-Saxan rap Ben will ever give. Don't get your hopes up though.

Adding Apologies Oct 14, 2012
Show notes

Another poem by Vespers, sure to tug at heartstrings.
Check it out after the break.

Adding Apologies
So many days pass by, when I want to call and say, “I’m sorry.” Understand that not a day passes by when I don’t think of you. Breathing is something that I have come to detest. Tonight I will try to fix things for the best. Reach into your heart. Add this apology in there. Couldn’t we stay here forever? Take me away from this menace I have become. Misery comes crashing harder than my failing breath. Every time I look us it is just not the same. Failed to become everything you thought I would be, turning into this monstrosity. Regretting giving you my everything, my everything being tyranny. Oh but I hope that things will be able to change. May this pain never come to you again. You didn’t know what I’ve become a monster, with nothing to give. Oh I think I have become the worst thing that could ever materialize. Undying remorse filling up in this devil’s lungs Reject the monstrosity that I have become. Hope that you will never suffer because of me again. Each breathe I take is simple regret. Agony so deep seeded, thorns grow and cut so sharp. Righting my many wrongs requires my departing. Tear this love for me from your aching heart, don’t mourn for me because I’m already dead.
(Take the first letter of each sentence and it should spell out....)
SUBTRACT ME FROM YOUR HEART

Anime Spotlight 4 Desu~ne? Oct 11, 2012
Show notes
Hi guys, I know I haven't been really keeping up with the whole "2 post per week" thing. It really is hard to do. But I will try my best to post avidly, at least. Or until my Pokemon hype dies down (White 2 <3) I've just been busy with my love for cats. But I think I can handle thiss!!!
Because I'm Desu and I know it!

Do the Neko~chan!

Now the last 3 spotlights have been about some fairly well known anime. I think I should pull a anime from this Seasons new list (Fall season). I'm already sure some of you started the anime you were waiting for, I know I sure have.
And this week's spotlight will show us why we should watch this anime. First things first, some backstory. It started as a Visual Novel, and judging from the fact you all are reading this, then you must show some liking to VN's. And if I recall, this anime has been waited upon for a long time. I know for a fact Henry and Kevin have been waiting for this. I guess that gives it away for Kevin and Henry but not for you. The suspense must be killing you!
Please don't kill yourself
Little Busters!
I know its not Code Breaker. Or the new Hayate Combat Butler. But still, Little busters has been a long awaited anime to come out. One word:
JUN MAEDA
If you dont know what I mean by that, then kill yourself (no not really though). Jun Maeda has helped make many MANY terrific anime that everyone loves and enjoys, with the feelings with the Daisukis. He is a Hayao Miyuzaki but for music. Some examples of his work are Clannad, Angel beats(ANGEL BEATS), Air, and many others.
If you still dont think its worth it(Think about it, Angel beats), a person that helped make such a great anime is making this. Why not give it try? Especially when it has been an anime that people have been waiting for.
Little Busters is about this young pretty boy named Riki who was a lonely man. But now he isn't, as he has many friends like Rin Natsume. But like most friendships, time comes and goes. The leader of their little group is leaving soon. And why be sad, why not create a great year full of memories? As a person who has not 1 but 2 really good friends who are now Seniors and are most likely moving out of the city, this really speaks to me. I have to say, I expect great things from this anime. From the first episode I already had some good laughs.
Info: Genre: Romance, School , Drama, Comedy Episodes :1 (so far, but 26 are expected) Rating: 8/10 would watch again!
Thats all for this one! This has been another Azunyan Spotlight!

And see you next time!~~

iWishToHug You! Designated Blogger! Oct 10, 2012
Show notes
Hey Guys iWishToHugYou here!
So on the last podcast we talked about needing designated bloggers, and I chose to become one,
Now today is a half day for classes, and I don't start late today, so I only have 26 minutes for this blog.
LET'S GET STARTED
So I blog when I have time, and I usually have free time between classes, so the pictures are weak, I will make sure I add photos to this post later (Or if Ben adds some without me knowing I won't complain :3)
So we actually got out the latest episode of our podcast, It is slightly late, but at least released on the date it was supposed to go out :D
That episode we really didn't have much material to go on, so we released it UNEDITED! (with one exception of Ben's sister coming in xD) While we were going through it, it seemed half arsed, but I actually think it was entertaining.
So I've noticed when we podcast we go by our first names, so for anyone who is wondering I am David, When I blog I go by the blogger name, well because I'm used to doing that on another blog I write for.
Like I said today is a half day for classes, I would be happy about it, but really the only reason we have a half day instead of an actual day off, is because of the CTU strike, *sigh*
But I'll try to keep to the bright side of things, at least I can go hang out with some friends after class.
I noticed that we went off topic during the podcast, and wanted to clear some stuff up.
Lilly, her route in my opinion is the closest to normal you can get. You have Shizune busting your balls all the time with her dominate personality, and with Emi she is leading the relationship the whole way. But with Lilly you actually get the feels of having a woman, the feeling of you not being alone....
Then you exit the game and notice your life indeed sucks. kekeke
I started playing Katawa Shoujo just because a friend told me to, but as I played I got sucked into this world, I felt what Hisao felt, and I think that's the best part of this visual novel.
In the blog I don't want to play spoilers, so I just need to say, if you are hating on the game for any reason, just give it a chance, I did and I don't regret it.
Like I said I only have time for a quick update, (and I need to add photos to this later).
So this has been iWishToHugYou with Katawa Shoujo blog.
Have a great day.
So lets start something, like my own signature.....

It may be coming out late, but I don't want to skip a week all together. Better late than never right? Yeah. Let's go with that.
We have some real cool stuff coming your way soon, so please keep listening and supporting the show. It means so much that so many of you care to listen!
See you tomorrow(Hopefully!)
