Diane Neal: Actress best known for Law and Order SVU-Why You Should Never Judge Your Self-Worth On Your Body Image Jul 27, 2021
    Show notes

Diane Neal — best known for her roles as Casey Novak in Law & Order: SVU and Abigail Borin on NCIS: New Orleans — joins Meghan for a lively conversation with some seriously funny moments and a lot of insight into some seriously important topics. The two take on the stigma of the average American woman's body in the entertainment industry, and the damaging effects of judging our self-worth on our body image.
They also discuss what it was like for Diane to be on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and why she left.
If you've never heard Diane speak before, you'll love her boring and lifeless (read: charming and hilarious) personality. She's no ordinary actress and this interview showcases her prowess when it comes to comedy and wit.

This episode is quiet, emotional, surreal, and very special.

Overcoming Family Separation Lead Her to Start a Nationwide Program to Help Teens Overcome Adverse Childhood Experiences Jun 01, 2021
    Show notes

When she was in high school, Samantha Wetje's family seemed perfect from the outside. Their family was a pillar to the community. But what they didn't know was that her dad's mental health struggles and addition issues had lead to her family being torn apart. While Samantha was devestated at the time, she didn't have the words to really understand what she was going through.
Years later, Samantha realized that she was not the only teen to have experienced an Adverse Childhood Experience (ACE). She now has founded a nationwide program dedicated to helping kids understand what ACEs are and how they can overcome them.
