UFOs - FAKE vs REAL Sightings with UFO Investigator Geoffrey Cox Feb 20, 2021

Show notes

Today’s Guest is Geoffrey Cox. He is the author of the book The Fall of Ufology: Don’t Bother Me with Your Deceit. We talked about his UFO sightings and ufo debunking. Geoffrey B. Cox, is a 30-year veteran of the Air Force from 1972-2002 working as a Supply Superintendent and got bored with his job and switched his career over as a Senior Air Transportation Instructor mobilizing & demobilizing military and equipment to hot spots around the world. This background then carried over to working as a Civil Servant with DoD as Chief of Safety at Hill AFB, Utah; Acting Chief of Safety Yokota AB, Japan; Chief of Safety Nellis AFB, Nevada; and then ending his career as Senior Safety Director in England and Stavanger, Norway. His interest in Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) started in 1962 at 9-years-old, finding UFO books in the trash in Pocatello, Idaho. After reading them, what always caught his attention, even then, was that they were just stories about UFO reports throughout the world, without any real- insight or statistical analysis. He knew then that there had to be more to these sightings than just short stories without analysis. When the opportunity finally arose in 2015 and presented itself toward his rediscovered endeavor, he joined MUFON Utah thinking that he could make a real difference with an outside perspective in analysis, his background with kinesics or body language, and investigations. As a Field Investigator, within a few months he was nominated MUFON Utah Assistant Director. Within a very short period of time, Geoff then had the opportunity of a life time being the Lead Investigator on two world UFO investigations, with one of them being noted through the largest Ufology investigation organization in the world, Mutual UFO Network (MUFON). The MUFON Science Review Board (SRB) selection chose their team as one of the 10 best cases of 2016. (Case 73931: 12:08 a.m. January 14, 2016; commercial aircraft over Nephi, Utah. Investigators.) Within five months, he had his first two sightings as a lone witness on the back deck of his condo and then one more sighting a half mile away from his home while driving to the hospital to have a knee replacement. Then a year and a half later, another UAP sighting of a 2-D bright yellow hologram, the outline looked like an upside-down embryo, with world-renowned Rob Freeman/UFO World Explorer & Mark McNabb of Skylight Films, along with meditation group of 25 people just outside of Laughlin, NV. #ufo #aliens
