She Had A Vision Of The Accident That Led To Her Near Death Experience Nov 10, 2021

Show notes

Podcast guest 312 is Andrea Courey. Andrea had a vision of having a near death experience 15 hours before it actually happened. Andrea is an award-winning Entrepreneur, Author, Lecturer, M Ed., Dobson Fellow, Sound Meditation Facilitator. In 1997, Andrea founded Grandma Emily’s Granola in Montreal, Quebec. Starting from her home kitchen, she grew the company and the product line to include granola cereals, bars, snacks and gifts. A single mother with three children, little money and no child support, her business plan was one line: ‘don’t give up’. Eighteen years later, with sales from coast to coast, the company was sold. Andrea imagined lazy days of retirement ahead filled with nothing but time, but a larger role awaited. That of caregiver to her daughter Chloe who fell ill with cancer. After a difficult and also blessed year, Chloe passed in 2016. She was 28. About six weeks after Chloe's death, Andrea sat down to write her a letter - the kind of letter a mother writes to help express her grief. Fully expecting to burn the letter upon completion, her world changed when Chloe answered back. There began a five-month long conversation touching on everything from what Chloe is experiencing out-of-the-body to her 12 Steps to Bridging Across the Veil. The result is Andrea's first book, Conversations with Chloe - A Mother and Daughter Dialogue Across the Veil. Wanting to understand more about how grieving mothers handle this huge loss, Andrea joined Helping Parents Heal. From those conversations came her second book, the book she wished she could have read when Chloe passed : Magical Thinking...not! Andrea's connection to Spirit was kindled after her own near death experience more than 3 decades ago. That, along with Chloe's passing stoked a deep passion to help people reduce their fear of death. Her most powerful tool to date has been to facilitate Sound Healing Meditations. How does Sound help people overcome their fear of death? By helping them experience themselves as more than their physical bodies. As the sounds and the facilitation carries them week after week on inner journeys, they begin to realize they are so much more than they appear to be.

She Encountered A Council Of Light Beings During Her Near Death Experience Nov 06, 2021

Show notes

Podcast guest 310 is Shawna Ristic. Shawna Ristic is a nationally recognized healer who shares the story of her Near Death Experience when, at 19, after being in a coma for several weeks and changed the course of her life. During her NDE, she met a Council of vibrational beings, that she works with to this day, and awakened to the love that is the fabric of everything and the essence of each of us. Upon awakening from the coma, Shawna realized she had come to earth to help people heal and find their way home, back to awareness of Love, and set out on a path to do that. Although the mystical experiences Shawna had during her NDE transformed her life and continued to impact nearly every aspect of it, she did not publicly speak of this part of her experience. She instead shared only about her miraculous physical recovery and continued working one-on-one with clients in her private office in Kansas. However, in 2013, a chance meeting encouraged her to share her full experience, resulting in a project and move to California in 2015 where she discovered a like-minded community through IANDS (the International Association of Near Death Studies) and began to openly speak about the totality of her experience. After more than 20 years of honing her healing skills, Shawna now feels ready to talk openly about her NDE and the realizations it has brought to her life and the lives of others.
