Tommy Talk: WHY YOUR TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE Aug 14, 2026
    Show notes

On this episode of “Tommy Talk,” Tommy discusses why finally saying the things we’ve never said before, to a friend, a loved one, or even to ourselves, can be one of the most freeing things we ever do. We all have things we bury deep. But why do we do it? Maybe something feels too painful to relive. Maybe we’re afraid people will look at us differently once we reveal the things we’ve kept tucked away. Will we feel embarrassed? Will we feel like we’re playing the victim when we know other people are going through things we perceive as even worse? Will we feel naked and exposed? Or worst of all…will we feel judged? Admittedly, all of these thoughts have crossed my mind at different points in my life when I’ve wanted to share the things I’ve kept hidden with the people closest to me. And I know I’m not alone. Saying something out loud that you’ve never said before can feel terrifying. But it can also feel like returning a missing puzzle piece to your soul. In that moment you take a little piece of your power back. You push back against fear. You allow yourself to be seen. We all experience defining moments that shape who we become. We all hurt. And hopefully, we all heal. This episode is for anyone who has been carrying something quietly, debating whether to finally say it. Maybe the words are scary. Maybe they’re vulnerable. But maybe saying them is exactly what you need to finally feel a little lighter, a little freer, and a little more like yourself.

Tracy Spiridakos on Going From Chicago P.D. to Glacier National Park & Why Her Glass Is Always Half Full Aug 11, 2026
    Show notes

This week, Tommy is joined by actress Tracy Spiridakos, who became a household name playing Detective Hailey Upton on Chicago P.D. Now, she’s trading the city for the wilderness, taking on the role of Anna Pigeon in USA Network’s Anna Pigeon, based on the bestselling novels. Anna is a law enforcement park ranger who solves dark mysteries and murders in the wilderness of Glacier National Park, all while trying to outrun her own past. Today, Tracy opens up about what she misses most about playing Hailey Upton, what she’s most proud of when it comes to the character, and the grieving process of saying goodbye to a role she loved so much. She reveals whether any of Hailey’s personality traits have stayed with her, if she was surprised that Hailey and Jay became one of the most beloved relationships in the One Chicago universe, and whether she would really do a spinoff with Jesse Lee Soffer. Tracy also shares why she knew she had to say yes to Anna Pigeon, what went into creating an entirely new character after playing Hailey for so long, and what she believes Anna is truly searching for in the wilderness. She opens up about how navigating her own grief helped her understand Anna on a deeper level, what her personal journey with grief has looked like, and the self-care practice that helped her through some incredibly stressful moments. Tracy also gets candid about rejection and why even the lowest moments of her career never made her want to quit acting. And don’t miss Tracy’s mini rapid-fire “Hot Takes & Hangouts” interview, dropping Thursday, August 13th!

Tommy Talk: STOP RIPPING YOURSELF APART Aug 07, 2026
    Show notes

On this episode of “Tommy Talk,” Tommy wants you to stop ripping yourself apart. Sometimes the biggest bully in our lives is ourselves. We beat ourselves up over the smallest things, or things we've convinced ourselves are huge when in the grand scheme of life, they really aren't. We criticize every decision, replay conversations, obsess over mistakes, tell ourselves we're not attractive enough, and convince ourselves that one setback somehow defines who we are. In this episode, Tommy shares the mindset shifts and "aha" moments that have completely changed the way he talks to himself and handles the moments that don't go according to plan. Because life is hard enough without becoming your own worst critic. This episode is all about building a healthier relationship with yourself. After all, the relationship you have with yourself is one of the most important relationships you'll ever have, so let's make sure it's a good one.

Tommy Talk: STOP LIVING ON SOMEONE ELSE’S TIMELINE Jul 31, 2026
    Show notes

On this episode of “Tommy Talk,” Tommy discusses why we have to stop letting other people’s timelines dictate our own. We look around and compare ourselves to where other people are in their lives. Maybe your friends are getting married, having huge business wins, buying their dream house, or having their second child, and you find yourself wondering, "Why am I not achieving any of that?” Maybe at 40 you’re starting over in your career, healing from a traumatic breakup, or finally chasing a dream you were told you should have pursued years ago. Just because things happen on a different timeline doesn’t mean you don’t have it "figured out." Somewhere along the way, we convince ourselves that we are falling behind in life. This episode challenges that and reminds you that you are not behind. You are on the timeline and path you are meant to be on.

Tommy Talk: LET’S LIVE WHILE WE’RE ALIVE Jul 24, 2026
    Show notes

On this episode of “Tommy Talk,” Tommy dives into the importance of truly living while we’re alive. After reading Matt Haig's powerful new book, The Midnight Train, I was reminded of something that can be so easy to forget: life can quickly become a series of routines if we're not intentional about how we live it. The truth is, balancing everything on our plates isn't easy. But at what point do we set gentle boundaries and give ourselves permission to say no to the things that leave us simply going through the motions instead of actually living? We're all so busy planning for the future, chasing the next big milestone, and waiting for the "right time" that we often forget to fully experience the life happening right now. From breaking free of autopilot and letting go of perfectionism to saying yes to the moments that make us feel most alive, this episode is a reminder that life isn't meant to be postponed or lived on other people’s terms. Because one day all we'll have are the memories we created...or the ones we WISH we had.I hope this conversation inspires you to slow down, be present, and reclaim the life you may feel is passing you by.
