Consensual Non-Monogamy Sep 03, 2023

Show notes

We’re all familiar with the term “open relationship.” Some more than others. While this kind of romance doesn't always work out, it’s very rare that someone winds up dead as a result. Back in 2015, 22-year-old Ryan Zimmerman of Corbin, KY was struggling with his identity. He was looking to discover who he was as a person by connecting with like-minded people on the internet. That’s when he met a man who excitedly welcomed him into polyamorous relationship. The only problem with the arrangement was that Ryan Zimmerman soon went missing…

The Zombie Hunter (Part Two) Aug 20, 2023

Show notes

(Part 2 of 2) After a cold case of over 20 years was cracked thanks to advancements in forensic genealogy, Phoenix police were certain that the Arizona Canal Killings were finally over. However, after 42-year-old Bryan Patrick Miller was arrested, authorities learned their suspect may have been much more active than they originally thought…From 1992 to 2013, several underage girls and women went missing and were never found. Others turned up brutally murdered. The locations of these violent acts were Phoenix and Tempe, AZ and Machias, WA. As it turns out, Bryan Patrick Miller happened to be living in the areas where nearly all of these unsolved crimes took place - giving law enforcement reason to believe that they may very well have a serial killer on their hands…

The Zombie Hunter (Part One) Aug 07, 2023

Show notes

(Part 1 of 2) The 1990’s was arguably one of the best decades ever. Creepy Crawlers and Barbie’s Golden Dream Motorhomes were under every Christmas tree while “Right Said Fred” was letting the world know that he was far too sexy for his shirt. While these were some of the best years for many of us, for residents of Phoenix, AZ - it was all nightmares and dreamscapes. When two women were found brutally murdered a year apart from one another, the similarities between the crime scenes were too profound to ignore. 22-year-old Angela Brosso and 17 year-old Melanie Bernas were both riding along the Arizona Canal on their bicycles in 1992 and 1993. The residents of this city were sure things couldn’t get any worse, until a 23 year old cold case wound up producing several more victims, all at the hands of one man who called himself, “The Zombie Hunter.”
