Loony Legion!
It's another week, which means it's another early newsletter hitting the cyber stands and into your eager hands! Khonshu has been divvying up the phases of the moon lately, and so we're faced with another varied show for you this coming week...one which we aren't entirely sure of, as yet!!.... Observe -
PHASE OF THE MOON: LAST QUARTER
AVATARS OF VENGEANCE - MOON KNIGHT GAMING REVIEW,
FUTURE FIGHT VS MARVEL PINBALL!
Yep, it's all about the games and off the back of the overview which we gave with the Rickball Special not that long ago (note: that would be our Episode 82, for those who are counting!) I reckon we can either look in depth at either Future Fight...or the Marvel Moon Knight Pinball game! OR we could pit the two games against each other and discuss both! Haven't really sorted it out with ConnorShu yet, but I reckon it will be either one of those, or a variation of one of those.
Hell, I might just put up a poll on Twitter and FB to see what you Loonies would be keen for! Actually, that sounds lie a right, royal cool idea!! Keep an eye out on our social media for a poll, and the results will basically be what you hear on the next episode!!
If you want to go further than the poll, and just write in to tell us what you'd like to hear on the next episode, you can reach us on ANY of the below social media platforms - please do drop us a line - we always love to hear from fellow Loonies...and we'll definitely give you a shout out on the show!!
If you DON'T want your comments broadcast, please just add, "(DNB)" at the end of your comment, and we'll be sure not to broadcast it. We'll pick a few comments from here and discuss on the show!
Our channels will be also again for you to join us on the show as we record live, via our Discord Server! Below is the time and date that we will be on air as well as a variety of timezones - depending where you are, please consider dropping in to hear us live, and you can also send instant messages whilst we are on the show - we'll be able to respond to you immediately and give you a darn good shout out!!

OK, short but sweet...adios, muchachos...! Keep reading great comics, playing good games and watching great gear!! Catch you online or on the show!! :)

EPISODE 90:
FEATURING TOP 4 BOOKS BY THE POWER OF CHAD!
It's a Friday night and the Waning Gibbous beckons and taunts us like a petulant child - yes, Loonies, The High Priests return to conduct another ISLA RA Sessions with another beloved Loony, and this time we have one of the coolest cats int he business, The Power of Chad! (Jernigan) as our special guest, to take us through his top 4 desert island books!
Apart from the fantastic issues on offer for discussion, as always, we ask Chad the burning questions - the questions that we put forth to all Loonies who come on the show - how they found themselves turn into comic book fans; how the Fist of Khonshu entered into their world; and finally, one of their other passions which help round out and give a better picture of one of our fellow Loonies...
Below are links to his Isla Ra books - click on the links if you want to read the issues before listening in on the podcast; or keep it a surprise and click on them after the show, to find out more about Chad's top picks!
CHAD'S TOP 4 ISLA RA BOOKS:
Special cameo appearances by Nedda (Marc Spector's housekeeper), Malebolgia (including everyone else in Hell!) and Shocky Dan ensure that this is an episode not to be missed!

Wasssuuuuuuupppppp!
Hey there Loony Listeners, it's that time again when you get this here little newsletter to keep you up to date with what we have in store for the next instalment of Into the Knight!
Off the back of a quite fun episode last week, talking about Moon Knight in action figure form, High Priest Connor(Shu) announced the next phase to be an ISLA RA Sessions! ...And you better believe it, baby - we've got another one for you!
PHASE OF THE MOON: WANING GIBBOUS
ISLA RA SESSIONS - THE POWER OF CHAD!!
As Connor also mentioned, we have lovingly pre-recorded this with The Power of Chad, so there's only a bit of editing to do now before it's all good to go and is ready for your hot little ears...
It was so much fun to have Chad on the show again and to chat with him to get to know him more. As we've said previously, part of the reason why we do the ISLA RA Sessions (Yep, I'm trying to create something like the John Peel Sessions! ) is to get to know each other more - you'll get to see what makes Chad tick, how he got into comics and of course how he got into Moon Knight!
Alongside that, of course is delving into his top 4 books - 4 single issues he could not live without if he were stranded on the Isla Ra, with the Sun King hunting him down, and the sharks nipping at his heels (er...when he's in the water)....
Chad's Top 4 Isla Ra (Desert Island) Comics: ???
As always, we aren't giving anything away! Below you'll find encrypted links to Chad's books. These will be in the show nots as well, but if you want to prepare for the show and discover what books Chad has chosen - and read them ahead of our discussion - then look no further than below -
CHAD'S TOP 4 ISLA RA BOOKS:
I myself, love being surprised by the books chosen. It's a bit different for me, as I need to prep for the show, but I can imagine if I were a listener, I'd wait for the surprise and then go hunt down the books to read after listening to the show...in any case, however you'd like to tackle it...the ISLA RA Sessions are always alot of fun!
I'd again like to take the opportunity to thank all the dedicated Loony Listeners out there who are still listening to us, and those who either love to just quietly immerse themselves int he ITK community, or those who love to let their voice heard! We are getting some more requests for ISLA RA Sessions, so there'll be no shortage of getting to know your fellow Loony, and that's just so grand...makes Connor(Shu) and I just so chuffed to bits!!
As mentioned before, we like to shake things up, so the KHONSHU's IDOLS last episode was just the beginning...of course alot of it has to do with the Phases of the Moon, but if there's a not so common Phase which hovers around the Friday evening mark, then we'll grab that and deem it the phase of the weekend...by that it opens up for alot more variety, whilst still staying true to Khonshu (don't strike me down again, oh Mighty One!!)
So, we've got a Spotlight coming up ahead, more MOON & STARS goodness; and even more AVATARS of VENGEANCE where we'll need to find another video game with Moony in there to review (I thinkn it's still too early for Ultimate Alliance 3....so I'm voting for the pinball game!!)
You can find us on any of the social platforms shown below -
If you DON'T want your comments broadcast, please just add, "(DNB)" at the end of your comment, and we'll be sure not to broadcast it. We'll pick a few comments from here and discuss on the show!
Finally, since we've pre-recorded the show already, we aren't able to give a proper shout out on the show until the following episode, so I just want to give a HUGE shoutout to Loony James Young from Chicago!
James has been emailing us and he did the most awesome thing that Connor and I didn't expect...he sent us MK badges!! So bloody cool - thank you so much James, and our Episode 91 (the episode after this upcoming one), we'll be sure to give you a darn good proper shouting out!! Below is a picture of the badge already proudly amongst my collection of other pins on my bag; one for Connor, and James' letter and business card of LCS Dark Tower Comics (of which we'll also give a huge shoutout!!)
Anyhoo, that's probably it for now - be good, keep reading, buying, sharing, drawing, writing and singing about our Fist of Khonshu!!
Under Khonshu's Eye, or more commonly as we say.....

EPISODE 89:
The Moon turns a First Quarter which sees our High Priests of Khonshu tackle an overview of Moon Knight throughout the years, in toy action figure form!
Whether it be action figures, statues or busts, both Connor and Rey highlight them all and compare how they hold up today and with each other.
Big thanks to The Rickball Special for supplying us with the information - tune in, Loonies..or be left on the shelf!

Face front, Loony Legionnaires!
It's another heads up from the ITK community, posting out to you our latest newsletter showcasing all the goodies that you can expect in the upcoming episode of Into the Knight - A Moon Knight Podcast!
In response for there to be more variety on the show, we will be aiming for the First Quarter Moon (as it will be, on Friday 15th March) to serve as the incentive to do a Toy Figure review!
Now as some long time Loony Listeners know, we have previously reviewed the most recent Moon Knight Marvel Legends figure from Hasbro, followed by another episode looking at the released Funko Pop Vinyls. This time around, we'll be doing an overview (similar to what we did with the Video Games episode) of all (or most) of the past iterations of Moon Knight as Toy Figures ...there is so much out there, and I know many Loonies have quite an impressive collection!
PHASE OF THE MOON: FIRST QUARTER
KHONSHU'S IDOLS - TOY FIGURE REVIEW,
OVERVIEW...MOON KNIGHT AS TOY FIGURE THROUGH THE YEARS
What would be really cool would be if you could send in your pictures of your collection - or maybe a few of the figures which you are most proud of as a collector (there just HAS to be figures out there worth a mint now due to being discontinued long ago)...I'll post a discussion thread in the ITK Facebook community, so please consider sharing your awesome fandom!
Of course, there are other ways in which you can contact us to share your thoughts or your toy figure collection -
If you DON'T want your comments broadcast, please just add, "(DNB)" at the end of your comment, and we'll be sure not to broadcast it. We'll pick a few comments from here and discuss on the show!
Now admittedly, Connor(Shu) and I aren't the most well versed in the older versions of the Moon Knight toy figures, so we'll be leaning on all your expertise and know-how to illuminate all!
Big thanks to Rickball who has pointed me in the right direction, but there is a great resource on the internet all about Moon Knight action figures -
http://moonknightfan.tripod.com/merch.html
We'll also be relying on this resource to traverse the ages and releases of Moon Knight in plastic form as it happened throughout the years!

OK, exciting stuff! Hoping to keep rolling out varied and informative episodes for you, our fair listeners! There's plenty ahead and am quite happy to have pre-recorded a few shows already which we will be releasing on the appropriate phase of the Moon...! AND, there's just more great interviews lined up to come as well! Very, very excited to share with you - hopefully they give just a different flavour or spice to the show... we do love our comic book reviews, but there is so much out there of Moon Knight, it just makes sense to keep it all diverse.
Having said that, we are at the mercy of Khonshu and the Phases of the Moon, so it's not ENTIRELY in our hands!! :P
Hope to catch you at our episode - keep listening to great podcast shows (like Uncanny Nerdverse, Weird Science Marvel Podcast, Fantom Zone Pod to name a few!!) and keep reading good comics!

EPISODE 88:
Loonies!
It's another one of those magical weeks where a MCU movie is released, and this time, it's CAPTAIN MARVEL!
With any MCU film, the High Priests are excited no end, so we can't help but discuss our overall, vague thoughts on the film without getting too spoilery...
For those who don't want to hear anything about the film, please note the discussion time stamp on our show:
20:32 - 31:25
If you don't want anything to do with thoughts on the film (because you are hanging out to see it!), please skip the time range as shown above and you should be sweet!
From there on, we discuss our classic run review which this week sees us review the following -
PHASE OF THE MOON: WAXING CRESCENT (but it's really a WANING CRESCENT!)
LUNAR-PICK REVIEW - CLASSIC RUN
MOON KNIGHT VOL. 1, ISSUE #4
"A Committee of Five"
Released February 1981
writer - Doug Moench
artist - Bill Sienkiewicz
Inks - Klaus Janson
colourist - Bob Sharen
letterer - Rick Parker
editors - Dennis O'Neil, Mark Gruenwald
MOON RATING (out of phases of the Moon):
Connor: Waxing Gibbous 🌖 - 8/10
Rebecca: Waxing Gibbous 🌖 - 8/10
Rey: Waning Gibbous 🌖 - 7/10
Guest Co-host is Rebecca, so the High Priests Connor(Shu) and Rey are chuffed to the bits to have Rebecca on board to talk about this classic tale from Moench and Sienkiewicz..another great MK issue to chat about!
Tune in, or miss out - Khonshu will deal with you accordingly!!

Loony Legionnaires!
Welcome again to another ITK newsletter, this time coming a little early due to commitments tomorrow night which will not allow me to write up and send off, as has been the case previously. You may well be wondering why, and the simple answer to that is - CAPTAIN MARVEL!
Yes, I'll be watching Captain Marvel tomorrow night, and I am pretty excited! I'll also be joined by podcast tour de force, David Finn from The Signal of Doom, so it should be a fun viewing of the film starring Brie Larson and Samuel L. Jackson, but it should also prove to be a good discussion before and after the film, with one half of the Signal there! (He'll also be joined by his lovely partner, Michelle, and all this has been graciously arranged by friend of the show, Natashca.
With ConnorShu watching it in the morning session on Wednesday, we'll have plenty to talk about on the show during our opening 'Idol Chat' segment; there's also a discussion of Alex Looman's latest fan film offering of Winter Soldier - he assures me it has a Moon Knight cameo, so we'll be sure to watch it and give it our thoughts on the show too; finally, we'll also hopefully be joined by High Priest Rebecca, so the upcoming show is pulling out all the stops!
With all that happening at the outset of the show, we then come to the main 'meat and potatoes' of the show and that is the LUNAR-PICK review -
PHASE OF THE MOON: WAXING CRESCENT (but we're doing a WANING CRESCENT!)
LUNAR-PICK - CLASSIC RUN REVIEW,
MOON KNIGHT VOL. 1, ISSUE #4 - 'THE COMMITTEE OF FIVE'
Released February 1981 writer - Doug Moench artist - Bill Sienkiewicz inker - Klaus Janson colourist -Bob Sharen letterer -Rick Parker editors -Dennis O'Neil, Mark GruenwaldAs shown above, and mentioned on our last episode, we got the moon phase wrong (well, I did!), so in an attempt to resolve this and to appease Khonshu, we'll be doing the Classic run review this episode - which really should have been done last episode...ah well - you win some, you lose some!
I haven't read this in a while, but I reckon it'll be fun to revisit and it'll be interesting what the other High Priests make of it.
It should be readily available digitally and in singles...I'll be diving into my Epic Collection Vol 1 'Bad Moon Rising' to check out this issue, which is reprinted on decent paper stock and beautiful recreated inks...
Similar to the Bendis issue we covered last week, we'd be really keen to hear your thoughts on this one - it's an old school issue, but it has much of the Moench and Sienkiewicz charm...there'll be a discussion post coming up for you to let us know your thoughts, but there are also many other ways to reach us -
If you DON'T want your comments broadcast, please just add, "(DNB)" at the end of your comment, and we'll be sure not to broadcast it. We'll pick a few comments from here and discuss on the show!
We haven't really been plugging this all that much, but there's a chance for you to jump onto our Discord server and listen in on our live recording! You may hear stuff that doesn't make it onto the final cut, which may be fun; or you can share your thoughts in real time too...via the chat room! We can give you a shout out or discuss any questions you have on hand then and there!!
Below is the time we will go on air...depending on where you are in the world, hop on at the appropriate time and we hope to see you there!

We had a bit of a slow month in February ( I did the cheeky and checked our listener hits on our Libsyn statistics)...we've got plenty in store for this year, and have lined up a heap of guest interviews, so please stick with us and share the love with anyone else you may think might enjoy our podcast!
March itself will involve a heap of recording (already have one awesome interview in the bag with at least another three more in the pipelines) so be sure to keep your eye on our social media pages for all the upcoming goodies!!
Here's the Captain Marvel tomorrow night - if you are going to see it, I do hope you enjoy it..here's to another era in the MCU....hopefully it will include Moon Knight in some capacity!!

EPISODE 87:
Khonshu will NOT be happy...
The High Priests are back, but this time Rey has made a school boy error and misread the phases of the moon, so although technically it's meant to be a Classic Run for this episode, you'll be treated to a Modern run instead!
Bendis is in the limelight for this, due to popular demand (kinda, sorta, maybe) and it's left to the High Priests to discuss with a keen eye the intricacies of Bendis debut issue for what was to be a very divisive run!
Let us know what you think of the run, and what you think of our thoughts!...The only way to do that is to give this a listen - what are you waiting for?? It's time to dive right in!
PHASE OF THE MOON: WANING CRESCENT (but we're doing a WAXING CRESCENT by mistake!!)

A-HOIBLES, Loony Listeners!!
It's your ever loyal High Priest here once again to dish out the entrees for the main course over the weekend that is our show!
As a few of you are aware, we put a poll up on both our Facebook and Twitter accounts to ask the Loony Listeners themselves what run they would like to see covered for the next LUNAR-PICK Modern Run review!
We recently wrapped up the all-popular Warren Ellis/Declan Shalvey run for our Modern Run, so we had a clean slate to start another arc...whichever tickled our fancy.
I'm pleased to announce the results of our little poll...but first, here is what you're going to get on our upcoming 87th episode (uh, well, you've probably seen the big, ginormous image at teh top of the newsletter too! Duh, me!! ) ...
PHASE OF THE MOON: WAXING CRESCENT
LUNAR-PICK - MODERN RUN REVIEW,
MOON KNIGHT VOL. 6, ISSUE #1
So for those who enjoy their stats, here was the breakdown of how the poll went -
Which next modern run would you like us to cover?
Yep, it ended up being a three-way tie between Wood, Bunn and Bendis!
After much hair-pulling and pressure due to the impending deadline of the newsletter, I conferred with my fellow High Priest - Connor(Shu) - to see what could be done.
We pulled our creative minds together and it came down to an old fashioned dice roll! Wood would get 1,2; Bunn would get 3,4; and Bendis would get 5,6...
This is what Connor(Shu) showed me (courtesy of a Yugioh App!)
And so it was settled...and Bendi reigns supreme!!
This should be a very interesting review and more importantly, I will be very keen to hear what you, fair Loonies, have to say!!
Below is a list of ways you can contact us apart from the discussion threads -
If you DON'T want your comments broadcast, please just add, "(DNB)" at the end of your comment, and we'll be sure not to broadcast it. We'll pick a few comments from here and discuss on the show!
So there you have it - not only has Khonshu decreed we do a Modern Run, but now Yugioh has stamped their ever mighty presence into the denizens of the night and have thrust upon us like a hyperactive spider-monkey, the Bendis run for us to enjoy for at least the first arc of his run!!
Again, we'll be testing out our capabilities over on Discord, so please note that we will be on air live at the following dates with a few times to give you an idea, depending on where you are in the world!...
ITK Virtual Recording Studio
Friday 1st March
9pm (GMT +11 hours) - Sydney
8pm (GMT +10 hours) - Brisbane
2am (GMT -8 hours) - Port Angeles / Los Angeles
10am (GMT +0 hours) - London
5am (GMT -5 hours) - New York
Finally, as always, I'll post up a discussion thread, to make it easier for you to drop comments in , on our social media...it will kinda let the cat out of the bag, as I'll post it shortly after releasing this newsletter...but what the hey! The more time there is to get your feedback in, hopefully the more feedback! :)
Anyhow, that's it from me for this newsletter - thanks once again for sticking around and I do hope you've been enjoying our episodes so far. I've done a bit of recording ahead, so there are some gems which I can't talk about but they'll be revealed closer to the date, so can't wait to share with you all!
Righto - time to send this out, post up a discussion thread...then read some Superman (random, I know...but it's homework for the 'other' podcast! :P)
Be good to Khonshu, y'hear!!!??

EPISODE 86:
FEATURING TOP 4 BOOKS BY HIGH PRIEST OF KHONSHU REY
A very different episode this week, with another one of the High Priests - Rey - giving us his ISLA RA books....this time Rey is in the hot seat!
Alongside hosts High Priest Connor(Shu) and Loony 'The Power of' Chad, the trio venture from Grant Mansion, to Gena's Diner...then to the Aussie Outback!
How Rey got into comics (in the crazy time, the 90's) ; his introduction into Moon Knight; and what takes up his time outside of comics too...all this is revealed in this very episode!
Below are links to his Isla Ra books - click on the links if you want to read the issues before listening in on the podcast; or keep it a surprise and click on them after the show, to find out more about Rey's top picks!
