Pinterest is one of the most valuable marketing channels for many direct to consumer businesses and digital product creators.

With over 330 million pinners they have approximately the population of the United States of America on their platform at least once per month.

Most people who use Pinterest regularly are high earners with a household income level of $75,000 or more and they are planning their future spending by repinning pins to their various boards.

When they choose your pins and re-pin them to their boards this means they are saving your ideas to take action on later.

When those pin ideas you publish that they save our detailed how-to posts, product reviews and other affiliate posts… When the time is ready for them to purchase the product or obtain the results they desire, they will return to your pins and click...

When you set up rich pins correctly as shown in this video using the Pinterest validator and by verifying your website, when they click on that pin they will be redirected to your website and you officially have an interested prospect entering your world through Pinterest marketing.

The first key is to realize that it isn't just about getting traffic from your Pins but you need to build bridges from Pinterest topics to your blog posts, your email list and your offers.

Converting these audience members and Pinterest subscribers to your email list is the long-term goal because then you have a marketing channel where you can stay in touch with these visitors who expressed interest for long periods of time.

Then it is through the email marketing where you present your offers whether they are affiliate offers or your own products or services.

Well, a little over a year ago I stared a brand new affiliate marketing case study website from zero and built it to earning over $6,000 per month within 1 year.

From 16 year old gamers to retired grandmothers in their 70's... The tech is no longer overwhelming and as long as you are ready to persevere and to do the work, this can be a great business.

The biggest mistakes people make is buying into one of the scams that the fake gurus sell and then getting disheartened and giving up too soon.

Too many affiliate marketers are confusing their strategies and don't realize there are 2 types of affiliate marketing. If you don't know which type of affiliate marketing you are executing on the odds of you creating success go down drastically.

You need to realize that you have a specific strategy that is going to work for you and your business model when you stay in alignment with one of the two types of affiliate marketing.

Both of these approaches work. I have businesses and brands executing successfully with each type. you need to gain clarity on which type is right for you.

If this is your first website if you are not yet full time if you don't have a team supporting you, you cannot attempt to work both of these affiliate marketing strategies at the same time.

You will waste time, you will waste money and you will end up getting more disheartened faster.

So this video walks you through the types of affiliate marketing businesses that you can start to help you self identify with which business model you are executing.

We go through real-world examples to help you understand exactly what it takes to create success online as an affiliate marketer.
