Great stories from these moms and their rock star musical kids. One of the best books I've read in ten years. A really cool look at what these musical geniuses were like as kids, how they got their start and how important their moms were in their development as musicians and people.

    Show notes

Carrie is a legend in national radio, she's been working 19 years at the biggest rock station in Boston, WAAF, as afternoon drive host and music director. She's very opinionated and hilarious. You will want to hang with her after hearing this interview. We talk her working in the family bakery as a kid, being a ballsy roadie, then intern at WAAF and moving her way up to being a huge on-air talent, her divorce (very interesting), what she wants in a man (not a pussy), meat slicers, and visiting troops in Iraq & Afghanistan. You will feel like you have known Carrie all your life.

My friend and the GREAT comedian Colin Quinn sits down for a great conversation about race, being Irish, the overly sensitive world we live in, how being too PC is killing all of us, how he remains so prolific in his writing, his one-man shows and more. Bobcat Goldthwait Apr 24, 2017
    Show notes

This is an episode of a talk show I created called, "The Paul Mercurio Show" (I struggled with the name). Bobcat was my guest, and this is an amazing look into one of the most groundbreaking comedians of our time. Bob talks about how his father influenced his "unique" comedic point of view, how he developed the "screaming" chracter, setting the Tonight Show set on fire, his daughter's "time of the month," and how he had to ditch the "screaming guy" and turn a page to do the kind of comedy and filmmaking he is now passionate about. A true artist, Bob's is an amazing story.

Rabbi Mark Borovitz Apr 03, 2017
    Show notes

This the most surprising, eye-opening interview I've done. Rabbi Mark was a mobster, gangster, con man, gambler, thief, and drunk. At 14 his father died. Within months, he was selling stolen goods for the mob, beginning a twenty-year life of crime that ran the gamut from bar hustles and con games to check-cashing scams. In prison, he played every angle and then some. Mark talks about his checkered past and how while in prison he found the keys to saving his soul by helping others which he does to this day. He is the rabbi at Beit T'Shuvah in Los Angeles, The House of Return, a rehabilitation facility for addicts of all kinds. And has dedicated his life to helping those with substance abuse and other problems. This is an AMAZING story. Release date - 04/03/17

    Todd Glass - Comedian Mar 27, 2017

Todd has a great take on things, smart, angry and funny as hell. We get into how he started doing comedy in high school -- he found out the hard way practicing medicine in High School was illegal. We talk what makes for a good and bad comedy club, dealing with hecklers, and people who hit their kids ... my mom used to hit me with her shoe. That's why I don't wear shoes. Enjoy!
