Adam Conover - "Adam Ruins Everything" Aug 07, 2017
    Show notes

Host of TruTV's hit show, "Adam Ruins Everything." A very cool show which reveals in a smart, funny way untold facts about ideas and goods/services taken for granted. A really fun conversation about how Adam took what's in his nature, "I learn something and try to tell people in conversation, but when I tell them, they are annoyed," and turned it into a hit show. We discuss how the show is researched and shot, topics he doesn't want to debunk (like religion), how sketch comedy helped him discover the show's character, why a downturn in his career was a GOOD thing, and much more. A very unique, cool guy who you'll be glad you learned more about.

Madchild, platinum-selling hip-hop artist, talks about his latest album The Darkest Hour - a reflection of his darker times battling opiate addiction. Jul 31, 2017

A really cool conversation about his beginnings as a kid in Canada, his writing process, where he gets his inspiration for his songs (something you wouldn't expect), how he turned his life around from drug addiction and running with the wrong people (he was banned from the U.S. for a while) and why he sees hip-hop as a lasting art form that will always be important. A really interesting look into hip-hop and one of it's biggest stars. I love tis interview because we learn about "process" in creating music.

Ernie is funny, insightful, and open in this interview. You have seen this guy on TV for years, but you can REALLY get to know him in this interview.

John is a really terrific comedic actor. He's made over 50 TV appearances and is best known starring as Jimmy DiMeo in the ABC show, Speechless and for playing Barry Kripke - the lisping physicist - on The Big Bang Theory. We have a lot of fun talking about everything from working as a copywriter and quitting to be an actor, his start at UCB Improv Theater, working with great improv actors- Rob Corddry, Brian Huskey and Seth Morris, how improv training is so helpful in sit-com acting, and the affect starring in Speechless (with it's focus of inclusion of those with disabilities) has changed the way he looks at the world. A really cool conversation and John's hilarious in it.
