I learned the hard way that you can’t trust everybody because everybody doesn’t mean you well. However, here's the truth: our greatest command as Christians is to love people. Yet, we often refer to the popular quote, "love all, but trust few".
Truly, you are going to be disappointed by people; to the point where you can't forgive them, but there are some instances when you can still learn from the people who've already turned their backs on you.
1. You only go back when something is different.
2. There is some betrayal that you can’t come back from.
3. You can let them back if they turn back.
4. There is restoration after repentance.
