    This week we discuss the Apple Watch and we examine what apps we used the most and how we use them. Are there any app favorites and could we be without the Apple Watch. Watch bands have become quite a popular thing to have and we have multiple ones.

    Listener question: Chris asks How would you manage a fitbit in iOS? Fitbit has its own app ‎Fitbit: Health & Fitness on the App Store but all the health data is maintained in the FitBit app and not the Apple Health app. There are many 3rd party apps that will sync with the health app including: ‎Power Sync for Fitbit on the App Store

    Dave has a new Samsung 32" monitor and is loving it for his Mac. 32" UJ590 UHD Monitor Monitors - LU32J590UQNXZA But did you know that you can use it with your iPad? The image is crisp and for a much lower price is a great option for a large screen with the iPad.

    Is iTunes Match really needed at this point? This article talks about widespread issues with the service and many users were frustrated. If you have Apple Music at this point it may not be really worth it and a redundant service but those who dont subscribe like what it does if its still going to be around. We discussed this.

    Media / Podcasts apps. We talked about Pocket Casts being bought previously well there are other services partnering for content. TuneIn and IHeart Radio announced a partnership that will add the 850 iHeart Radio stations on TuneIn. TuneIn and iHeartMedia Partner on Strategic Technology and Content Distribution Deal What are the differences of the 2 apps? Other apps like Audacy (formerly radio.com) has all the CBS radio stations and they do not share their content anywhere else. All 3 of these apps also have podcasts (including ours) listed too so you are seeing a trend here. They all have ads too with TuneIn and iHeart offering a premium subscription with no ads.

    The Google Podcasts added a cool feature providing suggestions at the bottom of items that were discussed in a podcast.

    You know this Message feature you send to your loved ones or friends when you can't take their call. You can send a message on your iPhone to avoid using the "Sorry, I can't talk right now"? Go to Settings > Phone, and Respond With Text, then replace one of the existing messages with your own.

    Dave is one to listen to news, music, or a podcast as you drift off to sleep? I know I am not alone. Did you know you can have your iPhone stop playing music after a certain time - just set a Timer, choose how long you want your timer to last for, and before you complete, press 'When Timer Ends'. You can then scroll down to the bottom and select 'Stop Playing'.
