Frank Rossi & James Baker are back to open the season — the first of four preseason shows before we go live from Montclair for the opener. What's in it: The annual question — North Central or River Falls back to Salem? The WIAC — no top dog, four teams in our Top 15. The portal — who's actually built to survive it. The Top 40 — and why we rank 40, not 25. Ranked vs Ranked — all 23 games in the first three weeks. Predictions — win totals, NESCAC bids, the PAC tiebreaker. The hard one — will a program go under this year? Mailbag — Centennial, under-the-radar, Keystone, roster size. Rule changes — Jim Corpora and Stuart Hindman on all of it. Week 1 gives you #1 North Central vs #3 Bethel, one of the rarest regular-season matchups we've ever had. St. John's is bringing in 101 freshmen. Frank & JB wrap up Season 18 and the 2025 D3FB season with a great show in which they look back once again at the Stagg Bowl and what has happened to the teams since, and they begin to look forward to the 2026 season. In that preview, they discuss challenging schedules and interview Rowan Head Coach Pat Ruley, who reveals his team’s Week 1 game against a national powerhouse.

The guys run through all of the coaching changes announced over the last months, and they also look at the entire D3FB environment inside the national college football context with RedditCFB’s Bobak Ha’Eri. Finally, Frank and JB give some predictions for the 2026 season.
