Rick Rule Says Gold Above $3,500 Won't Stop Him From Buying More Aug 07, 2026
    Show notes

Rick Rule, veteran natural-resource investor, founder of Rule Investment Media, and former President and CEO of Sprott U.S. Holdings, joins me for a wide-ranging Rule Classroom Plus question-and-answer session.

    👉 Rule Symposium 2026

    👉 Rule Classroom (Free)

👉 Rule Classroom Plus (2 Free Months)

Recording Date 8-6-2026. In this episode, Rick explains why creating more U.S. dollars without additional backing reduces the purchasing power of existing currency and discusses the intervention that strengthened the Japanese yen. We also examine gold's rise, my efforts to move cash into physical bullion, and why U.S. financial institutions report cash transactions above $10,000. Rick shares his own experiences with suspicious activity reports and explains why buying and holding physical gold outside the United States is legal despite increased banking scrutiny.

Rick evaluates companies and trends across lithium, copper, uranium, gold, silver, natural gas, royalties, and oilfield services. He warns that lithium is oversupplied and says direct lithium extraction backed by Exxon, Chevron, Occidental, and Berkshire Hathaway could threaten hard-rock producers. Rick remains bullish on copper despite stronger prices than he expected and discusses Marimaca, Founders Metals, Origin Royalties, Agnico Eagle, Equinox Gold, Cameco, Vizsla Silver, Hecla, B2Gold, Cheniere Energy, Texas Pacific Land, and Transocean. He explains why he buys uranium equities on weak days, favors technically strong management teams, values major-miner support for juniors, and concentrates on deposits capable of becoming world-class assets.

    Key Insights In This Episode

✅ Currency creation weakens existing purchasing power.

✅ Lithium oversupply demands extreme caution.

✅ Copper prices exceeded Rick's expectations.

✅ Rick buys uranium stocks during selloffs.

✅ Major shareholders strengthen junior explorers.

    ✅ Tier-one assets remain Rick's priority.

Rick Rule Reveals the 6 Questions That Separate Winning Mining Stocks Aug 05, 2026

    📈 Technical Analysis for Beginners

    🌎 Travel Channel

Recording Date 7-11-2026. In this episode, Rick explains why every investor should focus on the difference between price and intrinsic value before looking at anything else, showing how market capitalization, cash, debt, and liquidation value provide the foundation for determining whether a company is undervalued or overpriced.

    1. What is your market cap cash and debt?
    2. Have you and your team been a success before in an Endeavor that resembles the task at hand?
    3. Who owns your company? Do you own any? Do you have vested partners?
    4. Scalability. What are you looking for? What is your target size?
    5. What is the principle unanswered question today? How do you propose to answer that question? How much time will it take to answer the question? How much money will it take to answer the question?
    6. What keeps you up at night? What could go wrong? What else could go wrong?

I ask Rick to walk through every question on the checklist that I now use in all of my mining interviews, beginning with management's track record and whether their previous successes truly match the project they are pursuing today. We discuss why insider ownership and strategic shareholders matter, why large scalable discoveries create the biggest investment opportunities, and how investors should identify the single unanswered question that will determine a company's future value. Rick also explains why investors should always ask management what could go wrong, how they plan to reduce those risks, and why honest discussions about challenges build credibility rather than weaken an investment thesis. We finish by discussing the importance of having direct access to company leadership, monitoring execution over time, and recognizing that successful investing ultimately comes from backing exceptional people who consistently create value rather than simply owning attractive assets.

    Key Insights In This Episode

✅ Investing success comes from identifying the gap between market price and intrinsic value before buying a company.

✅ Management teams with proven success in similar projects deserve greater confidence than first time operators.

✅ Insider ownership and respected strategic investors create stronger alignment with long term shareholders.

✅ Large scalable discoveries provide the opportunity for exceptional returns that can outweigh numerous unsuccessful investments.

✅ Every investment should have one clearly defined unanswered question supported by a realistic plan, timeline, and budget to answer it.

✅ Strong management teams openly discuss project risks, explain how they are reducing those risks, and remain accessible to investors throughout the process.

    🌎 Travel Channel

Recording Date 7-11-2026. In this episode, Brad walks me through how GoGold has built a debt-free balance sheet with approximately $284 million in cash by generating free cash flow from its innovative Parral tailings retreatment operation, allowing the company to finance construction internally while dramatically reducing shareholder dilution and financing risk.

I ask Brad to explain how Parral's proprietary tailings technology not only generates approximately $60 million in annual mine-site free cash flow at current metal prices but also provides a blueprint for similar environmental reclamation opportunities across Mexico. We then dive into Los Ricos South, discussing the long-awaited permit approval, construction beginning immediately, a projected 24-month build schedule, and expected annual production increasing from roughly 2 million to more than 9 million silver-equivalent ounces. Brad also explains why he believes Mexico's permitting environment has improved under the current administration, outlines the company's strong institutional ownership and insider alignment, and discusses the long-term district strategy of advancing Los Ricos North after South enters production, ultimately targeting 15 to 17 million silver-equivalent ounces annually. We finish by discussing execution risk, project optimization, security in Mexico, and why Brad believes GoGold could re-rate significantly as it executes its multi-mine growth strategy.

    Key Insights In This Episode

✅ Parral's tailings operation generates meaningful free cash flow while funding GoGold's next phase of growth without debt or equity dilution.

✅ Receiving the Los Ricos South permit removes the company's largest uncertainty and shifts investor focus toward construction execution.

✅ Production is expected to grow from roughly 2 million to more than 9 million silver-equivalent ounces once Los Ricos South reaches commercial production.

✅ Management believes Mexico's permitting environment has improved as projects demonstrating strong environmental and community support move forward.

✅ GoGold's long-term strategy extends beyond Los Ricos South, with Los Ricos North positioned to create a district producing up to 17 million silver-equivalent ounces annually.

✅ Brad believes disciplined engineering, a strong balance sheet, experienced mine builders, and internally funded construction significantly reduce overall project risk.

Gold Gains 0.9% As The Dollar Falls 1.6% And A Major Breakout Begins ~ Monday Market Moves Aug 02, 2026

    📈 Technical Analysis for Beginners

    🌎 Travel Channel

Recording Date 8-1-2026. The S&P 500 gained 1.1% and appears to be forming a bullish pennant after the Federal Reserve kept rates unchanged, but the U.S. dollar fell 1.6% as expectations for tighter monetary policy faded. At the same time, longer term Treasury yields are threatening major technical breakouts, suggesting investors are demanding greater compensation for holding a currency that continues to lose purchasing power. I'm also watching the Japanese yen carry trade unwind firsthand from Japan, where the yen strengthened 3.9% against the dollar in only a few days.

Gold gained 0.9% and may finally be confirming an upside breakout from its triangle pattern, making the risk and reward attractive enough for me to consider moving a meaningful portion of our cash into bullion or PHYS. Silver remains trapped between roughly $54 and $64, while copper looks more constructive after gaining around 1.7% and holding inside its rising channel. Uranium is entering what I see as another attractive accumulation period, especially with the Sprott Physical Uranium Trust trading at an approximately 12% discount while the transcript reports that the trust holds about 81.7 million pounds. Oil dropped 4.1%, natural gas declined 3.6%, coal weakened, platinum gained 3.4%, nickel pulled back 0.4%, and Bitcoin fell 3.6% toward $62,000, leaving me cautious as I look for its next support near $58,000.

    Key Insights in this episode

    ✅ S&P 500 And Dollar The S&P 500 rose 1.1%, while the dollar fell 1.6%.

✅ Gold Gold gained 0.9% and may be starting a breakout toward $7,000 to $8,000.

✅ Silver And Copper Silver fell 1.9%, while copper gained about 1.7%.

✅ Uranium Uranium rose 0.4%, while the Sprott trust traded near a 12% discount.

✅ Energy WTI fell 4.1%, Brent dropped 7.8%, and natural gas declined 3.6%.

✅ Bitcoin Bitcoin dropped 3.6%, with the next support near $58,000.

Recording Date 7-9-2026. In this episode, Andrew walks me through how Meteoric transformed from a small Australian gold explorer into a leading rare earth developer after recognizing the enormous potential of ionic clay deposits, a style of mineralization that offers dramatically lower mining and processing costs than traditional hard rock rare earth projects.

I ask Andrew to explain the scale of Caldeira, including its 1.6-billion-ton resource, more than 200 years of potential mine life, and why the project could eventually supply roughly half of the U.S. magnet market from its initial production module. We discuss Meteoric's $370 million market capitalization, approximately $30 million cash position, zero debt, and the upcoming Definitive Feasibility Study that will pave the way for final construction permits and project financing. Andrew also explains the importance of separating rare earth oxides outside China, the growing strategic interest from the U.S. and European governments, the environmental advantages of clay-hosted rare earth mining, and why he believes Meteoric is positioned to become the lowest-cost rare earth producer in the Western world.

    Key Insights In This Episode

✅ Caldeira's ionic clay deposit allows low-cost mining without blasting, crushing, or grinding.

✅ Meteoric has defined a 1.6-billion-ton resource with more than 200 years of potential mine life.

✅ The upcoming DFS and project financing represent the company's most important near-term catalysts.

✅ Western governments are actively seeking alternative rare earth supply chains outside China.

✅ The project's simple processing and renewable energy significantly reduce environmental impact.

✅ Andrew believes Meteoric's current valuation does not reflect the project's long-term strategic importance.

Recording Date 7-9-2026. In this episode, Joe walks me through why he believes development-stage mining companies currently offer some of the best opportunities in the sector, explaining how he evaluates takeover candidates using permitting, metallurgy, mine design, jurisdiction, capital intensity, and the ability to realistically build a mine rather than simply defining a large resource.

I ask Joe to break down his outlook commodity by commodity, beginning with gold and why mergers and acquisitions are likely to expand beyond producers into developers as majors search for quality projects. We discuss why he currently favors silver opportunities outside Mexico because of permitting and security concerns, how Peru's drilling permits and community relationships have become essential investment considerations, why domestic U.S. copper projects continue attracting strategic buyers, and how Hudbay's acquisition of Arizona Sonoran illustrates that trend. Joe also explains why nickel fundamentals may be improving as Indonesian supply tightens, why processing and recycling could become increasingly important within the critical minerals supply chain, which mining jurisdictions he currently favors across the United States and Latin America, and why investors seeking multi-bagger returns must accept higher risk while performing substantially more due diligence than traditional large-cap mining investors.

    Key Insights In This Episode

✅ Joe believes development-stage mining companies offer the best combination of value, de-risking, and takeover potential.

✅ Successful mining investments depend on permitting, metallurgy, jurisdiction, and mine economics.

✅ Silver opportunities outside Mexico currently present a more attractive risk profile because of permitting and security concerns.

✅ Domestic U.S. copper projects continue to attract strategic buyers seeking long-term, secure supply.

✅ Improving nickel fundamentals could create opportunities in both primary production and critical mineral recycling.

✅ Higher-return junior mining investments require significantly more research, patience, and risk management than large-cap producers.

Recording Date 7-10-2026. In this episode, Bob explains why he came out of retirement to pursue Dakota Gold's opportunity in South Dakota's historic Homestake District and why he believes Richmond Hill can become the foundation for a much larger gold-producing district.

I speak with Bob about Dakota Gold's approximately $600 million market capitalization, $107 million cash position, zero debt, and funding runway designed to carry the company toward a shovel-ready project. He breaks down Richmond Hill's 2.6 million ounces of measured and indicated gold, a projected 17-year mine life, expected annual production of roughly 150,000 ounces, and the potential for project value to approach $3 billion at a $4,000 gold price. We also discuss the company's 2029 production target, private-land advantage, nearby infrastructure, permitting pathway, institutional ownership, and management's significant equity stake. Bob also highlights Maitland's high-grade potential, including 47 intersections averaging about 11 grams per tonne, and explains how Richmond Hill cash flow could support future district-wide expansion. He closes by outlining the major risks, the importance of experienced operators, and why he remains bullish on gold, mining equities, and disciplined producers generating strong free cash flow.

Recording Date 7-24-2026. The S&P 500 slipped 0.6% as semiconductor stocks, technology companies, and corporate bonds began flashing signs that investors may finally be rotating out of overvalued areas. At the same time, the U.S. Dollar Index climbed 0.7% and the 10-year yield jumped 2.9%, creating a major macro setup ahead of the Federal Reserve meeting. My base case is still that Kevin Warsh and the Fed hold rates steady, but a surprise increase could strengthen the dollar and trigger the commodity washout sale many investors have been waiting for. Gold gained 1.3% and is tightening inside a triangle that I believe is more likely to break higher, although I still have limit orders ready near $3,500 to $3,600 in case the market hands us bargain basement prices.

Silver rallied 4.6% and continues to offer an attractive risk and reward setup, with support near $54 and much larger long-term upside if the bullish commodity cycle continues. Copper gained 1.5%, while uranium rose 0.6% as the spot price held near $86 and term pricing remained at $95.50, reinforcing my view that summer weakness should be used to accumulate quality exposure. Oil delivered the monster move of the week with WTI jumping 10.6% and Brent gaining 11.8%, but both markets have now filled important gaps and reached technical levels where I believe a reversal lower is becoming more likely. Natural gas, thermal coal, platinum, and several producer funds are showing bearish or neutral patterns, while palladium and nickel are beginning to present more interesting opportunities. Bitcoin finished down 0.9% with another bear flag taking shape, and while I'm traveling, the channel continues with upcoming conversations featuring Robert Quartermain, Joe Mazumdar, and Meteoric Resources Executive Chairman Dr Andrew Tunks.

    Key Insights in this episode

✅ S&P 500 Fell 0.6% and I remain bearish as technology weakness spreads, with the 6,600 gap still in focus.

✅ U.S. Dollar Rose 0.7% and a breakout above 101.8 could push it toward 103, pressuring commodities.

✅ Gold Gained 1.3% and is nearing a major triangle breakout, though I am prepared to buy a drop toward $3,500 to $3,600.

✅ Silver Jumped 4.6% with support near $54, resistance around $64, and strong long term upside.

✅ Uranium Rose 0.6% as spot held near $86 and term pricing stayed at $95.50, supporting my bullish outlook.

✅ WTI Oil Surged 10.6% to about $93.50, but I now see greater risk of a reversal unless it breaks toward $96.
