This week, I sit down with one of our cities own Pittsburgh Park Rangers. Ranger Stevie has been working for the Rangers for a handful of years and she stopped by the studio to talk to me about what goes into keeping all of our parks functioning smoothly. Growing up, Ranger Stevie wanted to pursue a career in Physical Education but quickly realized she wanted something more in line with nature after an opportunity to go work for a Wilderness Adventure Outfit in Alaska. After her time there, she came home and decided to pursue a career in Park and Resource Management. This week, we talk about the day to day activities of a Ranger, some history on our parks, some wildlife throughout, and what goes into keeping the parks a safe and beautiful resource for all of us Pittsburgers to enjoy. As a fellow Yinzer, I'm embarrassed to admit I have not visited most of our parks and I'm going to make it a point to check them out. Enjoy the episode.

This week, I welcome back the capo and namesake to the cities best vintage shop, Zeds. Zack, Chase, and Steve just celebrated the 5 Year Anniversary of the shop. At Zeds you can find a great selection of vintage pieces with an emphasis on anything centered around the Burgh. Four years ago (almost to the day), I brought Zeds in to talk about celebrating their 1 Year Anniversary and how Zed's came to be. That was Episode 66, for anyone wanting to start from the beginning. I was still green as a podcaster and interviewer so it was only right to bring him back from a proper sit down to celebrate Year 5. This week, we talk about fashion, vintage, running an Airbnb, what's changed over the last few years, and what they have planned for the future. Being a customer over the years, it's incredible to see their constant growth and continued success in building what they are down there on the Southside. I sit down with Adam Milliron. Adam is a fascinating individual with an interesting story on how he climbed to the level he is at today. Adam and his team are the creatives responsible for the banners you see when you're filling up your gas, the images you see when you walk into stores, the menus you order from, and so much more. This is the guy. Adam and his small team do it all. With hundreds and hundreds of different clients like Sarris Candies, Primanti Brothers, Sheetz, Coca Cola, and so many more, you've surely come across his work more than once. I truly was blown away by what goes into one of these commercial shoots. This week, we talk about his childhood and his early dive into entrepreneurship, the importance of learning how to do things yourself, how he picked up a camera, and ultimately, how he created this powerhouse team in being one of the best commercial food and product photography companies in the country. For a man who needs no introduction, I will surely try my best. I am absolutely honored to cross another name off of my Bucket List and welcome lawyer, marketeer, and "Pittsburgh Icon" Edgar Snyder to the ICYRB Studio. Growing up, I think it's safe to say that no matter what you were watching on tv, you'd be sure to hear this man during the commercial break. Mr Edgar Snyder is, in his words, a "marketeer who practiced law." With hundreds of commercials playing throughout the years, people young and old knew that tagline "There's Never A Fee Unless We Get Money For You." This week, Mr Snyder sits down with me to talk about his childhood, his decision to pursue a career in law, being an innovator in marketing, and how he worked his way up to being one of the most well known figures in our city today. What a guy. What a conversation. What an absolute legacy. This was a big moment for me as an interviewer and definitely something I will never forget. I'm so thankful to Mr Snyder for sharing some time with me and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

This week, I sit down with Chris Copen of Bottle Rocket Social Hall. Bottle Rocket Social Hall is a indie arts venue/ bar that is unlike any place I've ever been. When you walk in, you go back in time to a place that looks like the 1970's sports bar your Uncle had always dreamed about building in his basement. Chris Copen wanted to create a space that could be utilized for a variety of events but still have that unique feel to it. "The Best Show In Town, Six Nights A Week" is how Chris described Bottle Rocket and I think that's the best way it's been said. Each month, you'll find a calendar packed full with all sorts of different events. Whether it's a local band, Bad Movie Bingo, or a headlining comedian, you can always find something for you. This week, Chris and I talk about why he wanted to open a venue, the jobs he had previously that prepared him to run his own club, how he chose the location he did, and so much more. This week, I sit down with Tyler Podomik. Tyler is a painter and ceramicist from Pittsburgh who marches to the beat of his own drum. Tyler drops by the studio to talk to me about his work and how he came to be who he is today. Early on, he had no idea where his life would take him. Now, he spends his days creating. I was introduced to Tyler from a previous guest Stephen Jaskulski. Jazz told me "Tyler is going to be the greatest painter to come out of the city of Pittsburgh" so I had to have him on and find out why. We talk about everything from our previous shitty jobs at a local car dealership, his introduction to art, how CCAC changed his life, capitalizing on opportunities when they are presented to us, and so much more. I had a great time learning about who Tyler Podomik is and I think you will enjoy our talk.
